Warren Jeffs Worth A Large Reward ???

Well WJ may have a reward on him, however this guy is nothing but a small time pervert at best. Certainly not a top 10 criminal in the least. Only a religious fanatic who has gone over the edge.
He tried to keep doing business like they used to in the creek, times are a changing and he didn't see it coming. And it ran him over. Women in the creek simply won't put up with the nonsense any longer. He started making trouble with his own congregation and now they may just as soon turn him in. He has made alot of large mistakes and is paying for them now. He would appear to be a true religious fanatic.

This is more of a witch hunt than anything else. A lot to do about very little. Certainly not worthy of national coverage. The media needs a religious fanatic to cover so he got elected.

I totally agree with Fundy. I think that all the hype that the media is giving this situation is insane. All it is doing is validating all of Warren's "prophecies". I think if the media and the feds would back off and quit "fulfilling prophecy" then the people would see what is really going on. But, as long as the hype keeps up, then all it does is give credence to Warren's word.

Also, putting him on the FBI's 10 most wanted list is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard of. There are way worse criminals out there that should be focused on. Warren is not in the same class as Osama Bin Laudin. And what is America coming to if people cannot live their religion, no matter how stupid it seems to others? I was evicted from CC with a lot of others, and while I agree that things are far from perfect, I don't believe that this situation is being handled any better than if Warren was calling the shots.

Look at the dollars. Hasn't he already done more than $100,000 damage to lost boys that will have a difficult time supporting a family? Boys denied an education and now kicked out at an age where they need a father teaching them the lessons of life.

Are any of the FLDS faithful making an effort to assist the "lost boys?" If you can support three wives and umteen children per wife surely an extra boy or two couldn't be much of a burden. Most accounts of the goings on among the cult would make us in the outside world believe that each and every one of the "lost boys" is partially related to most of you. Where is your compassion? They don't seem to be lazy or unwilling to work. If anything, their interest in girls is quite normal, but then, that is the problem, competition from strong, virile youth; and therein lies the heart of the problem.

First off to say that Warren does not deserve to be on the 10 most wanted list is as absurd as saying that they have been doing the same things for years. He is a sick man that has hurt so many people. He is not ever going to stop unless someone does something that extreme. When I was FLDS I thought the day would never come that the law would stop the abuse. It is obvious that the postings saying it is not "Warrented" are coming from people he has not hurt. There is no one in this country that has hurt so many people with malicious and purposeful actions as Warren Jeffs. How many crimes does he need to commit before he is worthy of the 10 Most wanted? If he murdered one person or destroyed the homes and lives of 5000 men, women and children it would be the same. He is not physically killing them with his hands, but he is killing them and their futures. Those children deserve to be protected like any other child in America. How dare you presume his innocence when you are not his victim? Get a grip and find the facts before you pass judgment on the system.

Also why would any FLDS member want to help one of their own lost boys? That would make it easier for them to succeed, and we were all told that when a person apostatizes he is left to the devil to be abandoned by God and they we WOULD fail. To help them would only stop them from feeling guilty for being an apostate and it would also make them look like liars. It is a continuation of the abuse.

As for the under age marriages being done for years there is more detail to that. Yes they were done up to a point in time and then Uncle Roy stopped them and asked for the girls to wait until they were at least 18. He told u that part of our religion was to be within the law. It was when the Jeff's took back over that it started up again. There were underage girls married within the other time, but it was by their own choice to get married. What Warren is doing is much worse that anything the other leader ever did. He behaves like he has no conscience. He was once just narcissistic but turned psychotic some where along the lines.

More power to the law. Catch him and let the families be at peace.
.

Look at the damage just to one family and try to put a price on it. There is no amount of money that is enough to compensate his for his genocide

Who cares if they see it as fullfilling his prophesies, he needs stoped. It cannot make it true only him more determined to do more crimes. It makes him think he is immortal, and God when in reality he uses that to get the people to think it is the media and the law at fault. Get real here.

Warren is only doing what Brigham Young did way back then and even admitted it.
Marrying young girls to older men.

IMO the reward is to small, because of the possiblity that Warren Jeffs may want to go out in a "Blaze of Glory" like David Koresh, taking many of his followers with him-women & children.

It's important that Jeffs be arrested and put on public trial so the world can see him for what he is, a crook! Hope that LE dosen't get themselves in a Waco like situation where Jeffs shows up an says here I am, come and get me, useing armed followers to fight LE when they come in. Jeffs useing suicide by cop to make himself a martyr, what a loser!

Did you get that street? We are going to hang your WJ from nearest tree. Hang em high. Then we're going go look up sam barlow.

Anonymous said...

Go get him! 11:27. What about the bounty hunters? Would they be able to get to him if they wanted or fight his "bodyguards"? People keep talking about another "Waco" or "Jonestown". I sure hope not as I've read about both groups in detail & I hate to see history repeat itself again. Such is life.

Anonymous said...

The higher the reward, the better the chance is that they can catch Warren without many of his followers being harmed in the process.
The best scenario would be for an insider to report on the movements of Warren so that they can capture him in transit when he is only surrounded by his thugs and not several hundred of his followers.
It would be a tremendous risk for an insider to do that and the reward needs to be worth that risk.

So, why is Warren hiding?

Anonymous said...

What about the 400 boys that aren't LOST. Sounds like your the perv. When you point a finger you have 3 pointing back. Your a creep.

Anonymous said...

I agree with anon 1102am. Someone on the "inside" will have to rat him out & decide if it's worth it. I just wonder what authority the bounty hunters have if they wanted to get to him & what would happen.

Anonymous said...

Christ very well may have hid, butI guarantee it wasn't because he molested children. That is the reason Warren is hiding. There is no simliarities between Warren and Christ. Warren is a freak that takes advantage or adults and chilren alike. Christ gave what he had to anyone: not keeping it for himself. I have yet to hear that Warren can change water to wine or part a sea. I have yet to hear that Warren has touched someone and healed them..although I have heard he has "Touched" many. It just didn't have anything to do with healing.

Psychology and the power of the mind is amazing. I am sure that people can be healed by having their leader come for a visit and bless them. I don't consider that evidence of a man being a prophet of God, however.

Until someone on the inside gets past the fear and brainwashing that they will go to Hell for turning him in, he will not be ratted out. The teachings are so deep; they run in the veins of them just like in OTS who defends the injustices and abuses. Until someone realizes how much they have been lied to and is willing to accept the fact that they have been following a man, and one with evil works, then and only then will he be ratted out.

I remember the anxiety I felt when I realized the facts of it, and yet the fear of getting past it and seeing how controlled my mind was difficult. Tremendous guilt ensued. FLDS and EX FLDS have an image to protect and to admit they have been deceived is very hard, and very humiliating. It takes a very humble person to look at themselves and admit how naive they have been and how manipulated they were. It is so very hard, and yet once past that and the reality that God still loves them and will bless them more for admitting it, then and only then will anyone of them rat him out.

It is a sick situation. I use to hear someone say," I got kicked out". I use to say to them, “congratulations, you are one of the chosen". I believe that is true as it takes a special spirit to get through it and have any self worth.

I remember when Louis Barlow was faced with the decision of letting his family stand by him and go with him or not and how he sent them back to do what WJ told them to do. He could not admit that for all those years he had been used and deceived. His whole life would have looked like a lie and he probably could not bare the pain he felt for having been so manipulated. He died a lonely man and so will the rest of those kinds of men, and women. My mother was one of those people and she died very sad.

Once before she died I was shown a vision of her being very happy and was told that when she died she would be happy and enlightened. I was told that she would be relieved to find out that she did not have to put me out of her life. It allowed me to have hope for her and me. I do not believe that this life is the end of our time to learn and repent. It would be senseless for things to be so rigid and set in stone with a God that so loves. I know that doing your best is what God wants of us. Admitting when we are wrong and making things different is what Jesus taught.

I feel great love for the people caught up in the WJ web of lies as it cannot be easy to escape just as a black widows web holds a fly so it his trap.

May God bless you all FLDS and other to acknowledge the greatness we all have access to and the best reason of all to use it. To be the best and to be like God is my goal.

Thanks for letting me tell you my opinion of things.

From your post I gather that you have parted company with wj's blessed. Perhaps it is incumbent upon the community who stand without the inner circle of wj's madness to take it upon themselves to take these boys in and give them training and care. They need to learn that they are valued. If they are taught that they have no value then they are the very ones who in the future will become your greatest source of trouble. Love can conquer rejection. Of all the emotions that you can offer, unconditional love is the hardest to give and, the hardest to take. In other societies it is called "tough love". What is meant by this term differs, but essentially basic rules are set. These rules have to do with life, health, obedience to those who have taken responsability for your care and respect for others.

Failure to stay within these broad parameters will cause loss of priviledge and even revolcation of the right to be provided for. Decisions are reached only after frank talk and understanding of just what the rule imply and examples of those things not permited. A single mistake should be puished but banishment is not yet the only recourse. Additional work, responsibility, loss of priviledge etc. often bring the youth into line. Youth wannt parameters. If you give them strict guidelines, and enforce the rules, trouble will be the exception rather than the rule.

Any person, male or female needs to learn to make intelligent decisions and also to give love voluntarly not out of fright and fear.

Tough Love is "tough" on all those agreeing to its tenants, but the end result justifies the means.

It means not only that the teen has to obey but that the adult has to assume the leadership role to praile, council or punish as becomes necessary.

I took in many of the cast off children. I realized that I was never one of the "blessed" and soon after was ousted. However, I have become very cautious. All that I have done has not always been good for me and mine. Those kids/ young adults have no concept of broad parameters and when tough love was used they turn on the very people that loved them unconditionally. I took in upwards of 15 of them and all but 2 of them took my things and sold them, gave drugs-alcohol to my minor children and never lifted more that a few seconds a day of help if that for their upkeep. When I asked rent from them or to commit to specific duties they called me a clean freak and a bitch. Almost all felt they were above the law and one even turned me into the law when I asked him to quit making improper advances to my daughter and move out. I believe that the majority of young kids kicked out were selfish and had low self worth. Probably as high as 98% of them were like I’ve said and it stopped them from appreciating anything I did for them no matter that it was unconditional love. As you said it is one of the hardest things to accept. It takes a mind change for them to accept it and appreciate it. My own children were in much the same condition when I left and as time has gone by the ones that were small when I got them out have done much better. The older ones still struggle with life in general. Taking responsibility for the things they do is the most difficult of all. They take after the FLDS role models that were shoved in their face for so m any years and are compelled to blame it on anyone except them.

I was raised in the FLDS but outside of CCA until I was married and then spent many years watching the dysfunction of the whole town. I married someone much like OTS who had a one track mind and defended the "prophet" even at the expense of his wife and children. I was very lucky to have seen other ways of life and was much better at adapting back into society than the run of the mill EX FLDS. I believe that was a great blessing and yet it has broken my heart to see the path of emotional and spiritual devastation done to the youth of the FLDS.

Helping them was given with all my heart. Now I only help a select few that have been able to show they are respectful and willing to go beyond the bizarre form of dysfunction they were raised with. The rest of them need 24 hour surveillance or maybe the military to keep them from self destruction. It is sad but true. It seems that the people leaving in the past few years have been better at moving on, but I credit that to the great numbers of them and the adult population that are in the same boat as them. It seems that the guilt is much less severe and the ability to recover greater. I know that for myself helping the masses would take me down also because I have limited resources and need to take care of my own first and foremost. I love them all with the greatest of compassion, but cannot risk losing what I have worked so hard for again.

God bless all of them with the power to overcome and show the way to others in the future.

12:08 I copy your concern and believe that you are absolutely right. In order to be in compliance with the law, a permit should be obtained from child protective services agency. This would subject you to an investigation and repeated meetings with officials to ensure that you were in compliance with the rules governing such charitable occasions. You might be elegible to get some financial help through the agency until the child reached the age of eighteen.

Thanks for the input.

I praise your attempt to do what you believe in your heart is the right thing to do. These boys must have been in a state of rebellion for some time, how sad. Most youth who succeed have been nurtured and loved from infancy, have received appropriate admonishment and even punishment when their behavior went outside the parameters of good judgement.

How very sad that too many of the ones who could make changes in the near future suffered the wrath of the ones who should have been their very role models throughout life. I personally believe that if the incidents of misbehavior were individually investigated that there would be common thread to show that somehow these boys had an independent spirit that was supressed in the name of absolute insistance upon total obedience. I seriously doubt that any of these boys ever developed a close relationship with their father and in all probability were abused by older children in the family. Even if they had an older brother who had stepped in as their mentor and protector at a young age their surly disposition might have been altered.

The individual has certain inborn properties that are often detrimental to their maturing. This deficiency can often be overcome if they have someone who will be their guiding light.

Childhood is hard enough without being made the butt of jokes, being beaten and cursed for the least offense and never having love demonstrated in their lives. Too often these boys have not only been psychologically abused but physically and sexually abused. The abuse that they have seen in their growing years is determined to be the standard, in their mind, and therefore they resort to many of the same practices as they grow older. This lack of parenting is one of the most dastardly crimes of the polygamous community. If a child thinks of himself with low self esteem, is constantly being put down and beaten how can he/she be expected to suddenly become the darling. They see elder brothers thrown away and know that in all probability, when the time is right, they too are disposible.

I thank you for your candid note. If those people within the FLDS community would awaken to just what is really happening among themselves they could correct the problem. If they will, that, in all all probability, is unlilely to happen.

Thank you for your efforts.

Taking in one of the Lost Boys probably will NOT get you involved in CPS or any other government agency.

There seems to be a double standard with CPS. If the youth is a runaway and the parents file a report, then CPS will just send the child (usually a girl) back to the Creek.

The Lost Boys are not considered runaways. They were kicked out or left on their own and the parents don't care where they are or how they are doing.

So CPS just ignores the underage Lost Boys living in the area.

Go ahead and take one of the boys into you home. Give him the love and affection and attention he wants and needs.

The chances are slim that CPS or any other government agency will ever know. And if they know, chances are that they won't care or do anything about it.

This is such a double standard, but a sad fact of live in southern Utah. It all has to do with the young girls being a commodity and the young boys being a detriment.

The Universe's Number ONE Authority on the Subject of Judgement has spoken.

I can't see God steping aside to allow your puny little mind know all things concerning judgement.

What are your Judicial Qualifications? Do you hold advanced degrees in either U.S. Constitutional Law or PhD, ThD,ThM, BD in Theological Law. Are you fluent in Hebrew?

Or, are you akin to modern Judism, that spends it's meeting times discussing ways to do just what they want to do while circumventing the written law. Why would they beahave so? Because the Spiritual Law was never written upon their hearts because of their lack of faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. He is not their Christ and won't be until at the mid-point of the tribulation when they come to a great awakening and mourn the one they crucified and become a nation of evangelists. A nation that God had intended for them to be from the moment of God's promise to Abraham concerning the child of promise, Isaac.

You don't understand nothin' street. We citizens of Eldorado would love to have the business generated by your people coming to town. Our school system receives money from the state based upon the average daily attendance in school. The system would benefit from having YFZ children attend.

The main benefit would be to the children. They would be educated to compete in the world for real jobs, not those chosen by their ancestors or clergy. The pictures I have seen of the children show them as normal kids, with sweet faces and intelligent eyes. Sure, there would be a time of adjustment, but you have to understand that YFZ just "showed up" on our doorstep and we didn't know what to expect. Locked gates appear to keep residents prisoners at YFZ. We are by and large gentle folk, we just don't like surprises, especially when they are prefaced with a lie. "HUNTING RETREAT", yeah, right. Get truthful and see how things change.

Anonymous said...

The FLDS have ALWAYS practiced a Gospel that hunts for souls, as fishers of men, and the YFZ is a retreat that provides that. They told the truth.

muggsey said...

Oh really!!!!!

What is your bait? Where are your fishermen????

What do you offer that anyone other than FLDS would want to adopt?

In 'The Great Commission' of Jesus Christ, HE said to his diciples: Go into ALL the world making diciples of ALL PEOPLE, baptizing them in the Name of the FATHER, the SON, and the HOLY GHOST, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And know this, I AM with you ALLWAYS, even until the end of the world.

Tell me, in what minimal way does FLDS practice this commandment?

Anonymous said...

They consider themselves as hunters of men's souls for the Lord, the Lord's Way, not man's. And they told the world it was a retreat for hunting. So the question is NOT will they successfully win over the whole world. The question is did they tell the truth in considering their land a retreat for said hunting, which they do.

Therefore, all can see that they TOLD THE TRUTH, not to please you or anyone else, but merely to speak the truth.

ATAR_i said...

A hunting retreat. They KNEW what they were communicating, and they said it like that so that suspicion would not be aroused.

Probably should read the news reports where they cop to that fact before you spiritualize a deception they've already admitted too - it makes you look kinda foolish (and, like your justifying a lie, which you are, and spiritualizing it - which is like... completely pathetic).
