Current Photos of FLDS in Eldorado 06-20-2006

Our neighbors are finishing new home and rock wall around meeting house. We were told that the land around it was designated holy ground and off limits to outsiders. New pad for equipment has been created directly south of the temple. Staircase has been added to the dairy. No noticeable increase in population. There seems to be an increase in equipment though. There is a new silo by the chicken coop. All is calm at the FLDS in Eldorado. Photos are yours to enjoy…

Excellent photos Pilot. Good job.
The new fence around the meeting house appears to be made of renforced concrete slabs lowered into place between renforced concrete pillars, identical to wall around "temple". The FLDS builders appear to be prepareing to pour concrete in place for rounded corners, guess they can't get prefabricated sections like the straight wall panels. Appears that wall will not surround entire building, parking lot at back of building dosen't appear to be inside new concrete wall.

The FLDS folks appear to put up a partial decorative rock slab wall around part of garden behind meeting house. Both walls around temple & meeting house might stop noisy reporters & tourists, but would easly be knocked down by a swat team useing a bulldozer or military vechicle looking to arrest Warren Jeffs.

Having fences around these buildings must be intended to prevent FLDS people from entering these sites as entire YFZ is closed to public.

Eldorado is open to public to visit, churches in Eldorado welcome visitors, quite a contrast between two communities only 4 miles apart, it speaks well of Eldorado, a nice Texas town. And speaks of the true nature of YFZ.

Actually the fences are to prevent tax assessors and other gentiles on offical business from entering holy ground. Same as the temple. Tax people were told they could not enter the temple grounds.

Street, this is more of a response than I have ever made on this blog but I am fed up with someone who has not a clue what they are talking about.

I have always been respectful to all in the FLDS both here and afar. The anon posters are for the most part,( on this thread) respectful. I have changed my website, along with various other duties to walk the grey line between, law enforcement, surveillance and harasser. I could care less about a polygamist lifestyle and I have NO religious agenda other than to keep children from being killed in the name of God. Do you really want to die for god ( warren ) and take as many kids with you as possible? Who are you going to believe, my camera or your lying eyes? My website is designed to show the public that there are no tanks or gun ranges or WAMD. A photo truly is worth a thousand words. I want to avoid a Waco at all cost but my deepest fear is to avoid a Jonestown. Warren is not worth the life of a single child, especially in my county. Our sheriff would never allow that to happen. That is why he is so cautious and patent. Always remember, we did not come to your county, you came to ours. THE PILOT

Why don't you all mind your own damn business, lets leave these people alone. What about the Nun compound next door. I understand all Nuns are going to marry the Savior in the next life. Sounds very interesting.Sounds like you are all a bunch of peeping toms. Wonder what else you are peeking at. This is none of our business, Would if people were peeking on us.

Street your are nuts, it was Warren Jeffs that came to Texas and lied about what he was up too.
So if you attack an innocent community (Eldorado,TX) you are the assailant, the burglar, and the violent. Yes the people of Eldorado work hard to make a living and have built a nice community with schools, churches, library, swimming pool & golf course. They didn't ask for some crazy dude from Utah to come and disrupt their lives and put their families & children at risk in a confrontation between FLDS & LE.

Thanks pilot,
YFZ can fly over Eldorado day or night and take photos. We have nothing to hide. As a Catholic, I know that both the nuns and the monks monasteries are open to the public; nothing to hide there either. Nor are any churches or monasteries named by the Southern Poverty Center as hate groups to be watched. Nor is any church in Eldorado led by a man that is wanted by the FBI. Pilot, you are doing a valuable service. I enjoy your photos and send them to all the exes from Eldorado. No use arguing with morons like OTS, be safe and thanks.

OTS,

To live the American dream means to abide by American laws (the law applies to all of the people in America).

I truly believe that WJ and many of his followers do not believe the American laws, (a place in which you reside) applies to them. It appears that you live by a different set of laws convenient to you.

Now I am sure you will respond with various phrases of scripture rebutting my post. That is your opinion and that is fine. The Constitution of the United States gives you that right and you may speak it as loudly as you want to anyone, anywhere. However, it does not give you the right to wed and bed underage girls (see FBI.gov) or to treat the land in such a way as to adversly impact others within the area.($34000 in environmental fines for YFZ within a 2 year time span)

I would welcome you in my home or at my ranch at any time. Maybe we could have a beer and go fishing. I think the opposite would be true at your home or ranch. The uncertainty and secretiveness is the divider.

Well, pilot have you seen an Americna Flag flying over the YFZ.
No. And you won't. No, American Flags, no Pledge of Alliegance.
Warren has ban these American icons along with other idealogy that formed our great free nation.

I think some of the apostates can add a few more itemm Warren has preached against.

Warren is very un American. But he likes to hide behind the laws and freedoms other's have fought for.

Well Street if the YFZ folks are giving life abundantly where are the birth certificates?

If the profit ( ha ha ) is hunting for souls, how come he's so bad at it. He rejects everyone that doesn't pay enough. Does he want people to worship him or Christ? If so, why would he turn so many people away? Christ would never turn anyone away. I am glad the pilot is flying over the compound. I am tickled to death it irritates the FLDS! PS: Has anyone seen a black dude out there yet? I bet Warren doesn't hunt for any black souls to be among his chosen few. Wouldn’t that be something so see a REAL brother out there with all those white folks.

There are lot of "black souls" at the YFZ.

They are covered up by the "Pure Hearts".

After looking at the pilot’s site and reviewing laws of privacy, it has to be concluded that no privacy has been violated. There is no close up shot of any person on the site, only distant shots of people. There are also no names associated with people in the photos. The same as you would expect from a fly over of a football game. No privacy violation. As for showing the equipment and buildings, inanimate objects have no privacy rights. Anyone can take a picture of a building, tractor or cow, especially in unrestricted airspace. The only harassment one has to conclude is the fact that FLDS wants all their activates to remain secret and the pilot is not only showing the folks what’s going on, he offers the photos royalty free for all to publish in their own media. That's the real rub isn't it? Its hard to keep things secret if you are on the web for all to see. Good job pilot, I can't wait for the next round of photos.

As a privacy expert, you'd be hard pressed to make a case on this one. Privacy laws revolve around a reasonable expectation of privacy. If you're outside, you're not going to be afforded a reasonable expectation of privacy. Pilot can fly over and shoot a close up shot of anyone he wants if they're outside...

I've even seen it aruged sucessfully that people inside their houses, who can be seen from the outside through windows, have no reasonable expectation of privacy.

Great article on the Carmelite nuns in Eldorado. The place Anon 12:16AM says no one takes pics of. They have nothing to hide either.

anon 3:28
that is one story that I can truly say i was roflmao
that was the funniest thing I have ever seen
I should know, my husband took the pictures that the news story used.
oh, I didn't know that was going to be the hotspot when the distructions come all 10 thousand faithful are going to squeeze into that cavern and ride it out on old moldy bottled fruit.
Yes there is dyamite behind the steel door which Aardvark excavating has a permit to store blasting caps and sticks there. The ATF comes to check it out every year.
oh the doom and gloom
thanks for the giggles anon I needed it!!!

Just wonedering, if it was a just a storage place, why all the canned food?
Sounds like a fall-out shelter to me. If it looks like crap and smells like crap, it probably is crap...

Boy Schleicher County is one unusual place.

You have "Our Lady of Grace" Nunnery vs Warren's "This is the Place" Prison.

So you have the Carmelites vs the Warrenites.

Only in Texas.

We also have the Monks 12 miles north east of the compound. Just over the county line by a small town called Christoval. Not to mention a church on every corner in Eldorado. They almost out number the people in the town. Got to love it!!

um I don't think sand stone walls can block the harmful radiation of a nuclear blast but then again I could be wrong. That place is really small. But the bathrooms are a nice homey touch.
There is so much contriversy on that silly old place it's almost funny.Say what you will I've been inside and I know.

Fallout shelters are not a novel idea, and probably not one confined to FLDS.

As far as shelters go - the plumbing was impressive.

But wasn't the world suppposed to be over (according to warren) several times of the last few years?

Perhaps he's just desperate at having predicted the end, and it not coming to pass - so he's forcing the issue - he will make the end come to pass (or at least what his people will perceive as the end - an acceptable way to save face)

Hey, Nintendo I had a good laugh also. Isn't that Uncle Fred's "secret" cave. I thought Bruce Wisan had a video survelliance put on the cave to watch the explosives. Isn't this the same secret cave the survival kits and "guns" were stored?

Bad reporting on that TV crews part.

Anonymous said...

Notice how they didn't make any efforts on getting anything concrete facts as to why that cave is there. It sounds like nothing but inuendo. I am curious myself what it's for?

John Walsh spoke to Anderson Cooper on subject of Warren Jeffs. Walsh called Warren Jeffs a coward and low life creep.

John Walsh also said "WALSH: Well, I hope it isn't a last stand, but I think you're right. And a lot of people think that he may retreat to this compound (YFZ). Number one, some of the other cities that he's built compounds in or had followers in like Colorado City, Arizona, you can drive through those cities, and they're accessible to law enforcement. But when you surround yourself on private property with fences and state of the art surveillance system and you build this temple to God, maybe he's planning to go down there. I mean, he's so crazy and deluded. Maybe he's planning to make a last stand there.

Read entire article:John Walsh on Warren Jeffs

Call John Walsh and turn in Jeffs 1-800-CRIMETV or Report a tip on Jeffs

And again Good Job Pilot on the photos!
