Our Worst Fears Confirmed

A conversation with one of Warren Jeffs close leutinants was overheard saying "There is still 80% of the men that need handled."

Sounds like WJ is not going to let up and leave them alone. He is going to make sure that he is the only one left with all those women.

You know, it's not such a bad thing to be kicked out of the Creek. It's actually rather nice. I call it "my rescue".

What really sucks is men who actually leave without their families. I just hope and pray that my relatives get "handled" all together and get kicked out en masse.

Some TV station in Salt Lake City should do a story on the "Lost Men" of Colorado City.

ATAR_i said...

Well, I guess if 80% of the men are handled - it won't be pretty, but it might bring and end sooner.

I thought only three wives was the requirement for heaven. At 80%, this makes the new requirement for heaven 5 wives.

He can't afford to kick them out right away. Someone's got to pay for Eldorado, Warren, and his cronies. Relax guys. You might still have your families for 5years if your as lucky as you are lame-duck.

A good man said "Warren Jeffs is going cut the **** off of every man in this religion before he is done."

As you can tell with OTS, he has been operated on.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one
comes to the Father except through me."

This means that no one needs a prophet of God.

I am glad you are my friend and we will have to be little angels together.

If you think your insults are God like, Christian like or, a Prophet of God like, then you have extremely distorted insight. The God the rest of us worship asks us have love and respect for his children (our brothers and sisters). His commandment is, "Love thy neighbor as thyself." He, God and our Savior are the judges. Last we heard, He hadn't decended to annoint that appointment to you.

Who are you to judge what Faithful's father is? Or anyone else but yourself for that matter.?The only moccisons you have walked in are your own, and you have no God given right, capacity or authority to judge others. The old addages go like this, "we judge others by our own actions and experience". And, what goes around comes full circle. It's a given, that if we extend love, compassion, uderstanding and respect to our fellow men and women, they will return the same. Try offering a compliment or cutting some slack. It will come back a hundred fold.

Think about it Street, in the full spectrum of eternity, we're all just a speck, (an important speck in our own time on this beautiful earth). It's our opportunity to do good. What more would our Father in Heaven ask of us than to help look after his children and be an example of God like attributes.

Anonymous said...

You're not likely to run face to face with someone walking by your side each step of the way. Think about that. Street won't meet the devil because the devil is his constant companion.

Peter and Paul where never called prophets but disciples or apostles.

Paul (Saul) was given the designation of disciple or apostle because he did saw Jesus on the road to Damascus. Acts 9

I might be wrong, but in the New Testament the only individual mentioned as a prophet was Jesus?

James 1:5-6 is a good chose of scripture.

To anonymous 5:18 pm.Street doesnt worship the Judeo-Christian-Mormon deity known to the world as God.When Street refers to God ,he actually means Warren.Likewise, when Street refers to the Saviour he doesnt mean Jesus Christ,he means Warren S. Jeffs.Street is an Apostate from FLDS.He tries to pretend to be FLDS spokesman,But its all just pretend.

Thanks Divaqs, I am rusty on my prophets.

I know it is one of the gifts. The gifts are to edify the church, not tear it down.

I understand Warren wants a perfect people, but I am afraid that won't happen until that final trumpet sounds and time will be no more, as the song goes.

I forgot about John the Baptist.

Nice to have you back.

PS: Folks, read your Bible.
Find a version easy to read. There are people praying for you.

Don't trust your feelings. Use you mind God gave you.

God's purpose from the Old Testament to the New is to have us as his children, through the blood of Jesus. Our sins are forever removed. God forgets them.

That proves to me Warren is a false prophet, he cannot forget peoples shortcomings.

And PS the devil loses in the end.

Right Street.

What's this I hear about the prophet loosing his muscle in law enforcement (legal that is) because Roundy and Barlow lost their licenses to be law enforcement officers in both Utah and Arizona. Is it every man for himself? Has each state sent toopers in to keep the peace and keep the prophets hands out of the funds pockets. I'v very curious. That's my state of mind, not my blog name.

One thing that really helped me is having a civil marriage. After a little warning to leave us alone or charges will be filed, we were left alone.

I'm a former FLDS member. My heart goes out to everyone that has been caught up in the madness, and all the lives and psyches that have been shattered by it all.

I wish for a moment that you would know everything there is to know about what you are caught up in. Because if you did you would no longer be shackled like you are by tyrants. You would no longer be in fear. Your minds and hearts would be at peace and you would finally be free.

I only wish what is best for all concerned. So my question to current FLDS members...

Would it be better for you if Warren was caught and in jail for what he has done?

I know of a way to make that happen now, but I have been very hesitant to do it. I don’t want to see anyone harmed, or to see any mis-guided zealots do something they normally would not do and cause harm to themselves or others.

At the same time I can't bear to see anymore families shattered and lives ruined when perhaps if I acted maybe it would be prevented.

Eventually this madness will be over. Tyrants always reap their reward. The question will be, how many casualties before it’s all over.

Please only current FLDS members chime in on this.

Because of the circumstances you must be aware of, attempts in the past to get a response from those still "in" have not been very successful. I have some contacts with those still "in" but some do not have a computer and others who do would not dare leave a comment here.

However, in asking this question of them it seems that if you could bring it about in a way to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that warren is truly guilty of crimes it would make a change for the better. There are doubts that are arising from recent events and some are being shaken in their faith in warren. If they could be given something concrete it would turn the tide.

Yes it is true these contacts wish they were not in but are not willing to leave their family behind yet. It is the spouses and children who would be influenced in their opinions. Maybe their opinions are not those you seek.

Anonymous said...

I can tell you from long history that if you get Warren and put him in jail, unless you have irrefutable evidence of guilt, you will only serve to bind the faith of those people to him. They are so dogmatic and believe that any "persecution" is proof of righteousness. So unless you can get the absolute proof before them of his unrighteousness, you will only be making things worse.

Anonymous said...

What kind of proof would turn the heads of the faithful fttc?

What concrete evidence would be needed?

Anonymous 4:25 is very right about the "persecution" angle.

Also, do you know if different drinks, foods and recreation are forbidden by Warren's faithful?

Friend

fttc said...

The evidence would have to be so strong that warren would be shown to be guilty to the point that he could not withhold a confession. The crime would have to be against the people as a whole. Probably it would have to be so egregious that most of the families would be ruined financially and at least be on the brink of not having a roof over their heads.

This sounds practically impossible. warren has been pretty slick and covered his behind very well. He has committed these crimes but how do you prove it? I think the law enforcement knows this. They do not have this kind of evidence yet. If they were to bring warren in and try to prosecute him at this point it would only cause the people to rally for him. I don't believe for a minute that they have not had opportunities to apprehend him. They could have him now if they were ready for him.

As was said above it is only a matter of time. If you have this kind of info on warren I say give it to the authorities.

I don't think the law wants him in custody just yet.

I'm so not helping him hide, but a friend of mine says she swears she saw him in the avenues in SLC. He once said that he would NEVER go back to the Salt Lake Valley. He is a known liar so if he says he will never go back he is definetly there. Anyone remember the comment he made about his father's wives?

What happened in Nauvoo that made the people walk away from their homes and lands?

What is the story of Joseph Smith getting killed by those that were the closest to him (that it was a insiders job)?

fttc said...

Rumor

They didn't exactly walk away from their homes and lands. They basically escaped the hands of an angry mob. Many of the people that did get something for their homes had to take pennies for dollars. They left in the dead of winter. At the time of their mass exodus the temperature went so low that the Mississippi was frozen over thick enough to drive wagons and teams accross. This has rarely happened in history. From first hand accounts you could trace the exodus by the blood on the snow from those unable to procure shoes.

What caused this? When you get to the real force pushing the trouble it was those who apostatized from the teachings of Joseph Smith and stirred up the prejudices of the non-mormon neighbors.

Those who killed JS were not at the time 'insiders'. There were in the mob those who had been very close to him. It was those who pushed and influenced the mob to gather and commit the crime. They had since left JS and very vocally opposed him.

rumor-has-it said...

All my life, the prophet Joseph's martydom was a great event of persicution for living his religion

...now I look at it and say that Warren Jeffs is doing the same thing. He wants to die a martyr, he is planning that someone close to him is going to kill him and already has his next-in-line for backup. So many people believe he is a good guy, and yet so many things have changed in the last couple years and I don't think he is a good guy any more, but there was a time I thought he was the most righteous man that ever lived. He hasn't changed..I have.

The FLDS are using this stories from history and saying that they are going to happen again.

fttc said...

I think I understand and I agree with you.

Warren has only accomplished his purposes by taking correct principles and perverting them. The perversions have been ever so slight and evolved so slowly that few have detected them. Now that you are on the outside you can see the bigger picture and all the perversion in one frame.

It is very frustrating to see how warren is taking these events of history and turning them to his advantage. It is really only a person blinded by his perversions that can see a similarity between now and then. The differences are as night and day.

Who is the backup "next in line"?

Who is the backup "next in line"?

Anonymous said...

Is Warren a Mason?

Anonymous said...

No. He decries all "secret combinations" except his own.

Anonymous said...

Joseph Smith was a Mason, or so evidence shows. He shouted a Masonic cry for assistance as he plunged to his death from the second floor window of the Carthage jail after having shot two of the vigilantes who stormed the jail where he was being held.

The riot was a counter to a raid led by Smith which resulted in destruction of a printing press of a newspaper which had printed an article denouncing Smith's polygamist life-style.

I think that neither side was totaly blameless in the incident.

Maybe Jeffs has a martyr complex.
Perhaps he has an eating disorder as well as some sort of delusion of grandeur that is driving him toward his goals, whatever they may be.

fttc said...

As I said the differences are night and day. JS was willing to answer to the law for what was done. If you study the legal documents involved and communications with the governor at the time JS as a civil officer was within the confines of the law in the action taken against the press. warren will neither answer to the law or abide by it.

fttc said...

There were those who most definitely had just such an attitude. It is a fact recorded in the LDS church's own history.

Anonymous said...

There is a website about Joseph Smith which is sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints: http://www.josephsmith.net/

Anonymous said...

One question has yet to be answered. If indeed Smith was being held as prisoner, and not in protective custody, why was he armed? Two side arms were in the possession of the detainees, including Joseph Smith, while incarcerated in the Carthage, Illinois Jail. I understand that Smith's weapon is among the most sacred implements enshrined in the Salt Lake City Temple. I know that a number of Masonic emblems adorn that temple, including the all-seeing eye, the enjoined-hands etc.

fttc said...

When Joseph Smith gave himself up to go to Carthage he made the statement that he "went as a lamb to the slaughter". He had premonitions that he would be killed.

A Cyrus Wheelock could see that the enemies of JS were gathering in Carthage and so he smuggled the arms into the jail for JS. The arms were not used until it was established that the mob was indeed going to kill the prisoners. They had shot JS's brother Hyrum dead. It was at that juncture that JS discharged the pistols at the mob in the doorway, subsequently killing two of them. John Taylor and Williard Richards were spared when JS jumped from the window saying as he jumped what has been credited as being a masonic plea for help. It is from these two survivors of the massacre we have a detailed account.

Anonymous said...

Has anyone heard of any more corrections?

Anonymous said...

He may have jumped, but when he landed he had at least two bullet holes in his body. There are accounts that perhaps he and his friends were shot because he (Smith) fired the first shots.

fttc said...

Only those that that were present could know. It doesn't make sense to me that an armed mob would force their way upstairs in the jail just to say hello.

rumor-has-it said...

Have you ever been in a situation that you could slice the "hate" in the air? The hair on the back of your neck stood on end and you know if they could they would love to see you meet your maker?

This is how it is to meet those who oppose/support the prophet of the lord.

fttc said...

Rumor

I don't get what you are saying. Help my stupidity!

Anonymous said...

You are probably right. I don't think that the mob was making a courtesy call. Had they laid hands on Smith I believe that he would have been swinging from the limb of a sturdy tree within 30 minutes. A short trial might have been held but the verdict would remain the same.

Perhaps the fact that he was armed guaranteed that he would die quickly instead of by strangulation. His climbing up innto the window just as he was being shot added drama to the incident and Smith surely was for dramatics, whenever it surved his purpose.

By shooting those attempting to break him out of jail he would have had additional charges to defend against, should he have had to stand trial. He was strange by my calcuations but, he was anything but stupid. His becoming a constant irritant to his neighbors ensured that popular opinion against him was gaining strength. His decision to become a martyr gave impetus to the movement he began just a few years earlier.

Anonymous said...

Now we are absolutely assured as to he whom is the spawn of Satan. Even he who defys and blasphemes the Name of the Only Begotten Son of God, even Jesus Christ.

His admission, as recorded in the previous post, is all the evidence required to pay his utterances no heed. These are not the confessions of anyone seeking God and His Righteousness, but of one who has sold his soul into Hell's darkness and thus to eternal separation from God.

Anonymous said...

The thing that puzzles me is how can street and friends claim to be a part of the Fundamental Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and then deny Jesus Christ. Duh!!!!! How STUPID can you get?

How convoluted a doctrine can you develop if, as Joseph Smith claimed, the Book of Mormon is a second revelation of Jesus Christ?

Are subsequent revelations superior to Smiths? Why then read from the book of Mormon, Pearl or D. & C. Just make it up as you go. Street seems to do so.

OK I get it now. I just read the post wrong.

I suppose the scenario you gave is more likely than not to happen to me at some point. It shows the true character of the 'righteous' when they can have that much hate for someone even if they consider them an apostate. I remember a very wise (and truly righteous) man in history who looked at those who were true apostates and asked the Father to forgive them. Well, by men's fruits ye shall know them.
