The alphabet has vowls in it and maybe you need a lesson in spelling. ?

He loves his kids. Used to play guitar on stage and sing with them for community entertainment.

No way a man like that could spew sh** like Street does.

HEY, UNCLE RATT!

ARE YOUR INITIALS LB? CUZ YOUR POSTS SOUND LIKE A COOL GUY I USED TO BE FRIENDS WITH THAT HAS THOSE INITIALS!

I like that. Some one actually spoke the truth on this web page. Things are looking up.

9:08 are you talking to yourself?

Anonymous said...

no, and i did not mean to be rude. If you knew all that goes on you would understand my words. I was not trying to be rude. I guess what i was trying to say is this; Hey look at that. There is some one asking about another and just the truth was answered. With the singing and loving bit. I liked that. I guess i should be more specific. and thanks to good people out there and all.

Actually - I was talking to the first one who posted, something about 'vowls' - very odd.

I understood your post just fine.

Atari, check out Mike Watkiss Polygamy Diaries and you will see three episodes done on Laurene and Val Jessop. Infact this is a good place to watch videos on many involved with Colorado City and Hildale. Quite a library of faces and stories.

I have also seen other TV segments but I cannot remember where.

I would like to know what Val does for a living, personally.

The quote from Revelation 3 refers not to an individual, but a congregation from Laodicea, being nominal believers in Christ. (Nominal means they claim the name of Christ only, but do not demonstrate that his teachings or his grace have had any effect upon their individual lives, nor the life of the church.) Kinda' reminds me of the "Fundamental Latter Day Saints." The reference is to the fact that they, the Laodiceans were neither on fire for Christ nor were they activly opposed to his teachings, therfore, they are described by the metaphor as being "lukewarm." They, the congregation, are then advised to either "heat up", to buy fine gold, (be tested by fire in order to make their witness strong), or they will be cast out. In other words, they are told to get off the fence.

I prefer my tea iced and my coffee hot. Neither tastes good if lukewarm.

I'd like to know how the people at YFZ are enjoying the truck load of soft drinks that their "keepers" recently purchased from Wal-Mart in San Angelo. All cola, orange, root beer, all the various flavors and brands, including those back in the warehouse were purchased, in lot. Not a single soft drink, except those in the vending machines was left in the store. Now this purchase not only included "caffeine free", "diet" and "low sodium" drinks, but all drinks, including those containing the above listed ingredients. I guess that soda containing "caffeine" purchased by YFZ, is de-caffeinated before being consumed.... Yeah, right!

Talk about straddling the fence!!
Your witness for "clean living" just went down the sewer, along with the second hand soda pop!

Get hot or get out! Refine your gold, get rid of your tin-horn leadership. You don't have any leaders, they are all blind leading the blind.

Didn't Joseph condem the use of any beverage containing caffeine?

How does Warren, and his priesthood buddies skip around that eddict?

Another out-of-context quote from ots....

Muggsy did they take the Gatoraide, also?

Which Walmart?

muggsey,
FWIW... In my (previous) long experience within the FLDS, caffeine was never banned. The "Word of Wisdom" that mainstream LDS so strongly adhere to was originally just that - a word to the wise, by way of advice: a guideline for moderation.

There's a fairly decent treatise on Wikipedia

Tea, coffee and caffeinated sodas were regularly and often consumed, alcohol in great moderation, and tobacco absolutely forbidden.

Perhaps a present-day FLDS member (CTR?) would speak to current practice under Warren's leadership. To that, I cannot speak.

Muggsy did they clean out the beer isle also?

Maybe someone needs to check Pinky's.

Desert Darling;

On one of the other threads, you said that Street is in his early thirties. What makes you say that?

Also, on the David Draper thread, he did admit that his father is Edson Jessop. So that would make him one of three of Edson's boys that have been "corrected". J.L., Beck, or Val.

Since I personally know that it is neither Beck nor J.L., then it HAS to be Val. First of all, Beck does not have a computer, and he drives truck all week, and J.L. works himself to death, 16 to 18 hours a day in the truck, as well. There is no way that either of them have time to put as many miles on the road as they do, and be on the computer ranting and raving like Street does for hours on end.

Besides, Val has gone off with his anti-government campaigns and tirades against anything to do with the legal system. He and Steve Bradshaw are in cahoots with each other trying to find a way to thwart the legal system. He is the one that has a bone to pick with the world.

Also, on the other blogs, then his address has been pinged. He was in Pheonix trying to get Lawrene back when he was posting from a public library computer, and now from Cane Beds, where Val lives now. You can draw your own conclusions.

One thing I would like to point out, is that the anonymity that we all enjoy on this blog is one of the greatest things about it. It really should not be that big of a deal who is posting what. The main thing is that we all have a voice that can be heard. (THANK YOU ADMIN FOR THAT!!)

But the paradox of it is, knowing that it might be Val posting the OTS stuff DID make his posts a little more interesting. I used to immediately pass up all of OTS's posts. Then when I thought it may be Val, I started reading all his posts and thinking about it from a different point of view! =) I personally have more regard for the posts, knowing WHO is doing the posting, however; I also enjoy being able to blog without anyone knowing who I am! Go figure.

Wal-Mart on Sherwood Way. Don't know about Gatoraid, I heard nothing about beer purchases but, if WJ can figure a way, he'll use it. Can't help but wonder about recreational drugs, not for his worker ants just for himself and his personal stable of ladies of the night. He remains in hiding so it makes you wonder how he gets anything done exceppt abuse children and women.

OK, What does Val do for a living?

A poster on the Aimoo site said they went to Val house Sunday and he/they were not at home and therefore could not be Val.

Date Posted: 08/27/2006 9:52 AM

Hmm, Curious cannot be Val. Val and his family are not home right now, they have skedaddled someplace.

Where does this Steve live, in Cane Beds also?

Anon that thinks OTS admitted he is Edson's son.--

I would take anything OTS says with a pound of salt. He could have meant anything by that. Edson was a community father was he not? I liked what you said about remaining anonymous. I wouldn't like someone tracking me down like that. I am anonymous because I want to be.

muggsey said...

I think fttc is right regarding the volume of salt required to add to make any ots post truth. A pinch would never do, neither would a normal table salt shaker have large enough volume. I doubt that the ocean can provide the amount required for the task.

Would you be so kind as to identify how an individual can partake of alcoholic beverage in great moderation? Paul told his followers to drink a little wine for their stomach's sake.

Remember, in the era of time in which Paul, Peter and even Jesus lived there was no approved city water system. They had no chlorine to add to water to destroy contaminates. Wine was consumed because the alcohol would kill harmful bacteria, normally found in drinking water. The only essentially pure water was obtained directly from springs.
Intestinal parasites were a common malady.

It is of interest to note that the neither the Holy Spirit nor angels assisted Warren in escape from lock up (protective custody) last night. This in and of itself should be enough proof to convince even the most devoted of his followers to doubt his prophetic status. When has, or will any of his prophesy come to pass?

In Leviticus a "false" prophet was to be taken to the edge of the camp and stoned to death becuse of his false claim to have heard from God.

Anonymous said...

See, it is too Val. He has not posted since he has been gone, so that makes it more convincing than ever that he is Street...... Also, Steve Bradshaw lives in St. George. He is not FLDS.

muggsey said...

It is very interesting to note the absence of street's postings since the name Val Jessop surfaced upon this thread.

Jeffs was apprehended in Sin City because he believed himself to be above the law. He made a STUPID mistake that led to his capture. But then, in nearly every instance criminals betray themselves thinking that they are smarter than everyone else. He is in the process of collecting his just wages resulting from his actions over the past five + years.

Where were Warren's garmets, long pants and long sleeves when the traffic stop was made? Why can he and his immediate companions be excused for disobedience to the very rules that Warren would tell any other man to repent from afar for having disobeyed? Shorts and a t-shirt! His wife wearing jeans! Oh!!!! the shame of it all! A red auto? Isn't the color red associated with the color of Jesus's robe, and/or the color associated with Satan and strictly prohibited for use by any member of FLDS? Do these incidents demonstrate a double standard? How can the prophet not be guilty of breaking the very rules which caused some of his followers to have their families taken away from them and given to other men? There has been no JUSTICE demonstrated by Warren Jeffs, only disregard for the suffering of others and greed for his own self promotion. Jeffs was in the middle of worshiping his god Mammon.

ARE YOU VAL JESSOP?

Anonymous said...

I think OTS is Dan Barlow.

Anonymous said...

I think that by OTS not commenting on this thread, we can all assume that he IS Val Jessop. OTS never misses a chance to post on ANY thread! I am totally convinced that he is Val. All the word-play that he does is exactly how Val talks, and is sort of a family trait.

Anonymous said...

Not necessarily, it just proves that you are an insecure little twerp who's greatest desire in life is to gain attention for yourself.

ATAR_i said...

Is this Val Jessop the one who is/was married to Laurene?

Anonymous said...

atar_i,

Yes, was and is.

ATAR_i said...

So he's not between 30-35, and 'darlin' seems to be rather confident that OTS is between 30-35.

So, for now I'll trust 'darlins' gut, and look elsewhere for the true identity of OTS.

HaHaHaHaHaha!! Uncle Val!! You rascal, you! You crack me up, you Bistline-Jessop, you! Just keep on teasing these people here! They don't have a clue what you are about!! HaHaHa!!!

muggsey said...

No, but it doesn't make you on-the-street either. Your post doesn't make you anything but a silly hopeless wanna-be.

I think OTS is Dan Barlow.

Anon, what makes you say this? Will you please elaborate and tell us more?

Thanks

The Barlow Elders were some of the most educated people in the creek. Some of the stuff OTS says just reminds me of the sarcasm and sense of humor Uncle Dan had.

No offense, I just immediately think of him when I read his posts. Plus, he has alot of time on his hands.

Val is still legally married to his first wife Marie. Laurene is currently his mistress.
