Newsworthy Event

Shane and Sherrie moved in the house that Theil and Linda Cooke turned over to the UEP when they moved out. Theil Jr had over 30 men there to protect him and help him not let them in. When Officer Helaman came and saw the paper from Bruce, Theil Jr handed over the keys to the house. Shane told him, cousin you can stay with me, no need to move out.

Sounds about like how we predicted it would happen.

A big improvement over the 7 hour standoff at the house on Wyler Street.

that was beautiful wasn't it?

It's sad that our only form of entertainment around here is when we can stick it to the flds and the cops.
and let me tell you Little Theil was NOT happy about the whole arrangement either
ha ha ha

Who is Shane and Sherrie? And where did Thiel and Linda go? Did they get the boot? Do tell!

rumor-has-it said...

Nope, they just got tired of the mess and left.

WHO IS THIS SHANE AND SHERRIE?????

wildthangfromCC said...

Does anyone know where Thiel and Linda went?

While I don't agree with all the actions that the FLDS and the trustees over the UEP have made, wanting to "stick it" to them puts you on the same level that they were and are at. I'm saddened to see that sort of attitude from my friends and neighbors.
The Golden Rule applies to all, even FLDS and ex-FLDS. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Those who seek revenge are no better than those who perpetrated the problem in the first place. As far as I am concerned, those who seek houses, lands, etc that they didn’t make and or contribute to are no more than thieves. That applies to anyone, FLDS, non FLDS, or any other person who walks on God’s Earth.

What makes Shane have more claim on Theil Sr.'s house than Theil Jr.? Theil Jr helped his dad build it, and he lived there for years, so why does he have to give it over to someone that obviously never lived there or paid a dime to help build it? I am very confused.

Theil didn't want his son living there after he left. It's my understanding that Theil wants shane to hold the house while he is in SLC, but that it isn't permanent for Shane to be there. I hope someone with more than rumors can straighten me out if I am wrong.

There goes the neighborhood.

Shane didn't demand the whole house, he only needed a place to stay tell he could get a place of his own. Which he is perfectly willing to work/pay for.

When Thiel Jr did his little stunt, he didn't intend on staying anyway. He just put on a show, his stuff was already in boxes ready to move.

It is as if warren turned the FLDS into bawling, pointing toddlers who can't talk.

Speaking of petty stunts, who ever heard of a $1500 fee to have the power turned on?

ATAR_i said...

Could that have been for power bills that remained unpaid?

I doubt they would turn on power to a place with outstanding bills.

And, if the people who were leaving were unwilling to pay those bills, they probably knew they weren't staying - so the oness was on the new person living there to pay the bills if they wanted power.

The Power Company has a new little trick they are using. The New Occupant must put a deposit down in order to get service. Doesn't matter if you have good credit or reccomend from your last power company. They take your last years july and august bills and add them together and that is your deposit.

They only do this to "outsiders" after all the Warrenites move daily and would choke if they had to pay that.

We had a perfect record for 5 years, moved away for four years and had a recommend from our current power company. Twin City Power told us that our deposit was $1500. We couldn't come up with that at the time, so we just camped out without any power and then after a month or so, I went to pay the deposit and the receptionist was there by herself and it was only $500. I think someone inflates the numbers and that it is NOT fair that everyone doesn't have to put down deposits. I tried to find a higher authority to call on the matter...but they are a municipal power company only regulated by the town council. (Alot of good it would do to complain to the board, they are all warrenites)

I thought Twin City Power shut down and the new generator was "sold" to the Eldorado compound.

desert darling said...

We still have a power company that reads meters and sends bills even if the power plant is no longer in operation.

The whole power plant idea was debatable even before it came into being.

Jerry Barlow is the manager of Twin City Power.

Lorin Fischer is the plant manager.

Twin City Power's job is to provide power. If they can't generate economically, shut it down. St. George has generators that sometimes run and sometimes doesn't. Nothing wrong with Jerry deciding it isn't economical to generate our power and instead buys.

Theil Jr does not deserve to have the house.
He and his wife ran his own dad and mom out of in the name of Warren.
Theil Jr has been playing his dad for a fool, using him up and taking him for everything he has,
and doing it so sweetly.

People need to take responsiblity for their own actions and quit use their relilgion as a good excuse for making bad decisions.
When you make dicisions based on whats best for you and your family you know you are doing right.
No one knows beter what you need than you.

No one has the right to use relilgion to destroy families.
Relilgion should build people up and encourage them to do good.
Warren's relilgion is one of destruction and corruption.
People find them selfs doing things they naterally would not do,like throwing away their children and wives away.
People need to find the couarge to say no to this destruction,or they will have to take the conseqences.
It's right there for you to see.

STREET’s Reply: Wait a minute, you just said “No one knows better what we need than ourselves”. Then you proceed to call your very words a lie, making you a liar, by saying “no one has a right to use religion to destroy families”. I thought no one knows better than ourselves”! What you just said also goes against the very thing that Christ says about that, making you Anti-Christ, TO WIT (Matt. 10):

34. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36. And a man's foes [shall be] they of his own household.

37. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

IS THIS GOSPEL TRUTH, AND THE LAW, OR AN OUTRIGHT LIE? Every private society in America, every church, every company, and every government office, has THE RIGHT TO SCREEN OUT those who don’t fit. They do that every day. So, the Prophet was right all along!

thanks for taking that previous poster's comments TOTALLY out of context!!!
way to go street (i say that with total sarcasm).

the poster is right in every aspect. I would love it for like 2 seconds if I didn't have to make any decision and some one would tell me what to cook, what to wear, how to act. Wow then I wounldn't have to take responsibility for anything that I did because someone esle told me to do it!!
about sums it up, doesn't it.

onthestreet said...

Someone tells you to do things EVERY DAY, and not only that: YOU DO IT! You child, your spouse, your employer, the government, your ego, the devil...

THAT ABOUT SUMS IT UP, DOESN'T IT.

ATAR_i said...

So did the devil tell warren to go to disneyland?

Was it his ego that told him to buy a porsche?

Was it his spouse that told him to wear shorts?

I believe Ronald Reagan DID say this:

"Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty"

STREET’s Reply: Correct, and thus must your rights be confiscated for homeland security, only some of them for the moment, and then ALL of them. The security of the empire depends on it. God Himself has the ultimate concentrated power, and because this is a fact, you would brand Him the enemy. He only proves that holiness can inherit all things, and yet remain benevolent. God is the ultimate dictator, and yet He is the God of love. How can you continue to rip the two apart, and brand them as incompatible? You prove yourself an enemy to God.

I've never seen that phrase in the Bible

onthestreet said...

That would be correct, having eyes to see but see not. However, I'd be glad to point it out to you, if you were actually interested, and not always just seeking to be confrontational for the pure sake of spite and confrontation.

sure - point it out.
