Eldorado FLDS site looks abandoned.

I flew over the Eldorado FLDS site today at 7:00 pm. The front of the temple has been boarded up. There are only about seven pickups and very few cars at the site. No one is outside and no work has been done on the outside of the temple in three weeks. There is very little movement and limited population compared to the 6-23-05 photos.

What’s up?

My guess would be that Warren is running hither and yon and he is such a control freak that he doesn't trust anyone to carry on with the temple while he's gadding about. I guess they will have to stay in the house and listen to his sermon tapes all day.

To Fredonia Friend:
I only saw about seven pickups in the entire compound and a yuke ( big dump truck) moving about. That is it. Very few cars, no kids, no women, no one. It looks like a ghost town.

You just have to do a mental Street delete. He can be hard to ignore sometimes but don't let anything he says influence your opinion. If I were the blog admin, I would actually delete his posts unless they were coherent...see if he was smart enough to figure out how a conversation actually works.

faithful woman how come you are so negative? you know how hard it is to be kick out of every thing that you was taught from the time we were born till now. i am one of the men that was kick out. the way i have coped with it is i go to the warm springs baptist church and have found that god loves all his children. he even loves you. so lets all look for the good in all people in the earth.

I am glad you found some love. I am surprised you had to go the baptist church to find it. Must have hit you pretty hard. I am also "out" and I find my peace in the roots of our religion. (Joseph Smith, BOM, Bible etc.)

The greatest injustices that mankind has poured upon the individual have usually been in the name of religion.

Sounds like your real testimony of the gospel is working and your old Warren(ty) has run out . . .

So what will this mean for the people who were living at the compound? Have they come back to Short Creek, or have they gone to Canada, Colorado, Idaho, Mexico or Wyoming?

I know some of you live in Texas so no offense but I wouldn't work on putting up rock in the summer there either! I thought St. George got hot! I've wondered how they could keep working. It probably started all of them to thinking of hell's fire so warren had to get their mind off it.

ThePilot said that most of the cars he saw when he flew over the compound are gone. Where did the vehicles go? Does anyone know how many people were thought to be at the compound?

Anyone around Mesquite, Nevada should start looking, David Allred and clan have 8-10 houses there.

Perhaps they are running away from the "whirlwind judgements" coming from Mexico with the name of Hurricane Emily. Maybe they don't trust the Lord to lift them up so they have to run.....and hide?

I believe they are running and hiding too. Wareen is probably realizing that his lies aren't going to work on the people that he has not brainwashed. From reading the posts here, he obviously wasn't even a smart enough guy to teach the English Language properly. When God "talks" to him. He is just making up things so that you all do everything he wants. He is selfish and a child molester. I am not against any religions. Everyone should be able to believe what they want, but he is lying to all of you all the time as he himself molests children and lets others molest children.

BRAINWASHED

And you say you are not biased and delete posts. I think yoiu will argue it with a storm any how. It is no secret what God can do, What he has done for others he will do for you. We hold no Weapons. We hold no malice. WE hold no predudice. But who can stop a storm? Who can stop a river, Who can mend a broken heart, God can, God can.

UPDATE:

My dad went out this morning and said that he saw several women and many children. The men were not working on the temple as much as their yards. Yukes were hauling black dirt for yards and it looked like they were planting trees in front of Warren's place. There are a lot less people, but the compound is far from abandoned. I will try to get photos soon.

SALT LAKE CITY A judge has set an August fourth hearing date to consider new trustees for a polygamist church.
Also today, Third District Judge Denise Lindberg set the parameters on who can be considered an "interested party" to propose trustees for the United Effort Plan.

That's the financial arm of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The state had the assets frozen, and church President Warren Jeffs and other trustees were permanently removed.

People were earlier allowed to nominate themselves or others as new trustees, but the judge has narrowed the parameters of who is allowed to do that.

They include:

_ The Corporation of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

_ the recently removed trustees.

_ the attorneys general of Utah and Arizona, and

_ all trust beneficiaries, including those who filed lawsuits against the trust. Lindberg said the beneficiaries include anyone who has consecrated time, talents or resources to the plan.
