  1. What? No comment? what is up? You are all so quiet? Oh, how beautiful that sounds at times. I guess I shall go home. You all lost your voices? Who are there among you prepared? I am working. I will see you later. How beautiful is silence! No more insults, no more insults, How beautiful is silece!

  2. Ultimately, I believe that those who follow corrupt leaders are responsible for the corruption. I hate believing that because I feel our government is, in large part, corrupt, and I don't know how to change that. Voting seems to be a waste of time and I have neither the talent nor the energy to actually run for office. (Nor do I think I'd get elected. I'm far too honest to make it in politics and I can't even play the workplace games. Professional politics would eat me up and spit out the pieces.) So, while I think that I have to bear some responsibilty for our failing government, I can't for the life of me figure out what I could possibly do about it.

  5. I would have to say in the FLDS it's a little of both. The corrupt men are to blame for their willful corruption, but the people who let themselves be towed around by the nose are also to blame. Wake up and think for yourselves, people! It's your God-given right. But when a person is raised from infancy to submit to authority and not question anything it's hard. Most times it doesn't happen. For me it took a tragedy before I finally started saying to myself- this is not right. And it all followed a little at a time after that.

That's kind of like asking, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" Donchya know, Uncaduff?

  6. Rebeckah,
You are doing the right thing: You're speaking up about it!
Which is something all of the "Good" people should have been doing all along. Merril J, Alan S & Co. knew the whole time Warren was driving them downward.

if you have any publishable data on what you say, I for one, would be interested in reading it.
If what you say is true, I'm not surprised.

  8. There are those who seek POWER! There are those who follow Power!
Regardless if the Person knows the truth or not. FLDS isnt the only cult around. There are many, but one thing they have in common, ONE MAN usually knows ALL, (even though he doesnt) and those who will do anything necessary to please the one in power.
They will follow even if it means giving their soul, possessions, thoughts, to the POWER they beleive in.
Once this ONE person has taken power, there is only one way to go, and thats corruption. No ONE person can handle "Power"! It becomes to easy to minupulate people when you do. The more you minipulate followers, the easier it is to be greedy, put YOURSELF on a Pedistal, and actually believe you are a GOD!

Could you please explain the differences between Berry Knoll Farms and the Harker Farms?

Are they both owned and operated by the Harker families?

    Thank you
    Walton

  11. Walton, the Harker farms were the property of Parley J Harker Sr. who lived near Enterprise Utah, where the farm is located. the berry Knoll farms were started by a group of men from Colorado city, who bought the property from one Louis Black. the berry Knoll farms are located south west of Colorado City near the the airport. when the project went bankrupt, the UEP took over the venture. I don't recall the dates when this happened, but If I remember correctly, it was sometime in the 1980's.
