Is It Really Mormon Polygamy or is it Something Else

The Main question here, is, what is it there doing?? And it keeps going back to this, because it is the reason for all the problems. Are they living Mormon Polygamy? Like they claim, or is just a tradition they are living which has lost the most important part?

Like the LDS most fundamental Mormon groups are trying to keep alive Mormon traditions and life styles of the religion. And NONE of them can do so without the guidance of the Almighty. And all the ones I know of, don't have the help of the Almighty.
The LDS in there darkness keep the tradition of Conference twice a year and missionaries out in the country. Conference twice a year was needed back then because people came in horse and buggy. They didn't have television and radio, therefore it was the only way to do it..
Now you can broadcast live from Salt Lake City around the world to every LDS Chapel every Sunday with the First Presidency message. Instead they use youth speakers, what a BORING WASTE OF TIME. Puts everbody to sleep every Sunday in every LDS Chapel in the country.
Why keep Conference twice a year??
Because in the darkness of their minds it represents some religious tradition that has some significance. When in fact it was the only way they could do it back in pioneer days. It has no special meaning and they can't even see that. Having not the guidance of the Almighty they fail to move on to more modern means of communication. The same difference with missionaries.

Polygamy can't possibly be lived without guidance from the Almighty. The FLDS and other Mormon groups have everybody in the group live polygamy.. Well that does'nt work. Its not Mormon Polygamy it is something else. In this day and age only a man with CONSIDERABLE income could possibly come close to affording having several wifes. Something most groups try and work around with welfare from the state. That's NOT a good idea.

As you can see, there will be four parts to this treatise. However, I will only continue to the other three parts if your Admin accepts the first. Otherwise, you prove that you are SORRY, and all the rest, and NOT CHRISTIAN, but reject even the word of the Lord from which this comes.

You've never actually been to an LDS meeting, have you fundy? The First Presidency message is issued once a month as a greeting to the church. Home teachers, who can be teenagers, but are normally adults, are encouraged to draw inspiration from it in their discussions -- personally, I'll do it only if the family I'm visiting doesn't have greater needs to focus on.

A typical sacrament meeting will contain three talks (sometimes only two), usually based on a theme organized by the bishopric, delivered by ward members from the young to the very old. And certainly, some speakers are more skilled than others. I have never attended a church meeting where some kid stood up and read the "weekly" First Presidency message!

Fundy, There are countless "Mormons" who claim revelation-- including the LDS church leaders. What evidence do you have that you are guided by revelation today? Seriously.

Warren Jeffs BEWARE!
Muhammad is the Final Prophet and Messenger of God, and that no (true) Prophet can come after him.

“Muhammad is not the father of any man among you but he is the Messenger of God and the last (end) of the Prophets and God is Ever All-Aware of everything.” (Quran 33:40)

All who claim to be prophets or receive revelation after Muhammad, may God praise him, are imposters, and to acknowledge them would be tantamount to disbelief.

I asked the Lord today: Shall I continue on the forums?

My son, provide nourishment. Both above and below, the Lord and the world are speaking with an open mouth. These thoughts nourish them, and perseverence brings good fortune. Pay heed to provide nourishment, and what a man speaks fill his own mouth therewith.

In bestowing care and nourishment, it is important that the right people be taken care of, as you attend to your own nourishment in the right way. If ye desire to know what another is like, ye have only to observe on whom he bestows his care, and what sides of his own nature he cultivates and nourishes. Nature nourishes all creatures. The great man fosters and takes care of superior men, that all men may be nourished through them.

I the Lord come forth when, in the Spring, the life-forces stir again, and all things come into being anew. I bring my saints to perfection in the sign of Keeping Still. Thus in the early Spring, when the seeds fall to the earth, all things are made ready. Go not yet to my holy hill, but live in self-reliance until the appointed time.

Look not with envy nor discontent upon my people, but nourish in a proper way. Do not shirk it, for it is according to thine own nature. I am the Way. Then in my wisdom, ye may be worthy before me at the appointed time, and turn unto the summit. This shall nourish many.

I the Lord hath spoken, and I excuse not myself. Be sober. Keep all my commandments. Even so, Amen.

OTS, you ARE crazy. To come up with that hogwash is just literally insane. He told you all that? Did you write it down as He did? Maybe in shorthand? I think you're full of crap, or truly believe this and need some mental help.

The only thing Polygamy fosters now is contempt from outsiders and children that are in-breed and ill equipt'd for the challeges of life.
I feel very sorry for those who are born into a city or life where you have no freedoms and mind of your own. When born we basicly figure out whats right and whats is wrong with the world but to be trapped within a community where you are commanded to dress a certain way, speak a certain way, e.t.c. Get with the times and realize pink and green dresses, boys with greasey hair and everyone of them wearing glasses, living within a completly closed community is not Gods way

STREET's Reply:
Yah, about as much "insight" as a worthog burrowed in the MUK. The last time I saw the news (ten minutes ago), the nations were angry (Rev. 11:18), having contempt for insiders, and having almost no children AT ALL, preferring rather to KILL THEM in the womb, or to only offer life to one or two, and then to subject them to a hundred sexual and other offenses every day, at home, in their own neighborhoods, on the TV, in their schools and churches, in magazines, on the Internet, in the marketplace and the newspaper, so bombarded that they know nothing else but CRIME, and now so ill-equipped for the challenges of life that they must work for minimum wage, even if they have a college degree, or go off to war, or RUN AND HIDE from the Lord, from one hurricane and other disaster after another, having been so bombarded and terrorized by their very upbringing.

SEE THE DIFFERENCE? This is why the FLDS have "come out of her, the world, to be not partakers of her sins", thus obeying the LORD GOD.

Who, then, is engulfed as a criminal?

Put a saint is prison, or even in hell, and they will throw out the devil and establish a heaven. Christ Himself was in Pergatory, and set the captive free. Thus, the Prophet is certainly emulating greatness.

MUK: Thank you for the completment, by the way: Sal-a-man-der (door): The salvation of man through the door of Christ. Your acknowledgement of the propriety of my work and place is much appreciated.

Salamander:
1. A mythological reptile supposedly able to live in fire.

2. Any group of scaleless, lizard like, amphibians, with a soft, moist skin and a tail.

Choose your own definition to best suit your personality.

MUGGSEY (9/11/2006 9:48 AM):

SAL (vation), AMAN DOOR: Salvation comes from being able to endure the fire and Holy Spirit of God. You describe salvation so well, Les: Of fire, scaleless, moist, soft, and a tail or trail of children, an eternal increase.
