10 white vans all in a row

Today I followed ten white vans all in a row on the way to Hurricane. I do believe that it is a work project to go pick nuts at a pecan farm. Has anyone else seen them? Some have Nevada plates, Utah, Arizona. All with dark tinted windows.

  1. I thinks the nuts had already been picked, an were on there way to texas, or somewhere...

  2. It was the nut picking crews. They have quite a few more nuts yet to pick. And they have been up to it for 2 weeks now.

  3. They weren't all dark tinted!! I saw plenty of faces, yes the back windows are tinted, whose vans in the world aren't. Nothing like driving a 15 passenger fish bowl down the road.

  4. On my way down the St George boulevard and I looked in my rear view window and I about died. Everyone was following me and it scared me to death. I don't like people following me I almost called the cops. Every body had dark tinted windows at least most of them did. I decided to quit driving around anymore because everyone one follows me, especially people in Colorado City.

  5. And this is news, how may I ask??? This blog gets more boring as the days go on!!

  6. LMAO!! Your paranoid or even triplenoid. The people in CC have lots better things to do then follow you around. Take a hiatus from Flora News and listen to your brain for a change.

    LOL!!

  7. Hey, if you drive the Polyg 500 (US-59) at less than 85mph, you will find that you will quickly get followed because there are so few good passing spots. Of course, if they have a construction trailer, they will just pass you with oncoming traffic 1/2 mile ahead and pull in and about hit you with their trailer. Don't be paranoid. I drive the Polyg-500 daily to work.

  8. Hey chill people....the polygs are milder than kittens.

  9. 11:19-
    I hear you.
And...if you happen to be driving slow enough down the "Plyg 500", they will pass you whether it's a passing zone or not. After all, they drive the same road every day too, and they know it's safe, right?.....AND...they are God's people so He will protect them....(while they are blowing you off the road.)
Ya... I have issues with this....

    9:05-
I think 6:43 was being sarcastic.

    12:33-
For one, the Plygs most assuredly don't drive like kittens. And my ex- husband was certainly no kitten either.

  11. Hey, onthestreet, did you learn all your dirty language from being on the street? Who are you anyway? You sound flds but I can't believe you are talking that way. I would be ashamed to be associated with you, for we are supposed to be a shining example to the world, not a mucky mess from the gutter. Watch your language, Please??

  12. One of these trucks pulling a construction trailer tried to pass me with on-coming traffic very close. I instinctively slammed on the brakes. Well, so did he when he realized he couldn't make the pass, but now he couldn't pull back over. He had to pull off into the weeds and got all shaken up, but fortunately didn't roll. It's about time that happened to one of them. I've been run off the road about two times a year by their inconsiderate behavior. I hope his "shaking up" knocked a little sense into him.

Thanks. But I am curious. I was raised in the "Priesthood Family" as we called it. Are you "in"? I love to hear about the people there for I knew many of them and just wonder how they are doing.

  19. Can anyone tell me about the South Dakota compound?

Val doesn't know how to use a computer. I don't think he would lower his principles by using such a machine.

  21. Does anyone have any info on Merrill Steeds family? Like Lillian, Sterling, John, just anyone? Any "true" information would help.

  23. Hello 'Just a small one,'

In reply to your honest question, I do not know if I am in or out. I am from a rather distance away from all that goes on there, but was raised under section 132 laws, and in a household of Faith.

So I cannot tell you how people are doing that are 'in' for I am not there. But I have visted here and there, and found a degree of the spirit of God here and there.

    Best wishes.

  25. Bro B,
I realized afterwards my mistake. I meant in Warren's group. I think you knew that but it was unfair to say it. I am glad you rely on the Spirit of God for that is all any of us really have when everything else is taken away, isn't it? And I think that is how God meant it to be. Thank you for your kind answer, you sound like an awesome person. TTFN and God Bless!!

  26. 2:29,
What do you have to offer? Or are you just wondering? I have reason to believe a very dear relative is living there and would like to know just anything true about the place. I miss the person very much and hearing things about it makes them feel a little closer, as odd as it may seem.

  27. Mother Marie was married to Uncle Fred Jessop. I haven't seen her for five years. I bet that she is still living in Uncle Fred's old house. Under the direction of (President) William Timpson Jessop. If you are going to send someone in to check on her well-fare, let us know what you find out. We used to see her at the store etc...haven't seen her lately.

  28. Dear small one,

Your welcome and I do appreciate your spirit also.

Yes the spirit is all we have to rely on in many circumstances, and from my considerations I suppose that all things, all people and all works have or hold within them their own spirit, which if we are quiet to hear, and to too full of our own importance, so we might feel what is best in any given situation and so achieve the best results.

I cannot say that I always get things right, but I think the point of really believeing in God is to try to get all things right.

God bless and keep you from all ills and make and seal you as His own.

  31. When I was a kid and we went on work projects to pick cherries or peaches in Hurricane, about 30 of us piled in the back of Marvin Wylers old truck...and we loved it! Sounds like they are ridin' in style nowadays.

Yah, I was there on those kinds of work projects, fruit and nuts and taders, and the like, to tickle our tummies. Uncle Roy and Uncle Rulon prophesied that wealth would be the next trial for the saints. Aint it been so? Aint it been so.
