New Photos of Eldorado FLDS

Sorry it has been so long. I have been pre-occupied with job, wife, dogs and farm. Nothing much has changed enough to warrant photos until this month. Place exploded with construction of all types. Domiciles, warehouses, pivot irrigation and fuel depots. FLDS in Eldorado have been REAL busy lately. Great rains have turned our little desert town into an oasis. It is not usually this green. Photos are yours to enjoy but VERY large.... The Pilot

  1. Thanks for the excellent photos, wonder whats up with increase in activity at YFZ? With Warren Jeffs in jail and facing life in prison or the lunatic asylum, whos in charge, IS THERE A NEW PROPHET in town?

Here's an article on where Warren Jeffs may spend rest of his life:
    FUNNY FARM

He even will have other would be polygamous prophets to keep him company. :)

  2. That's quite the hunting retreat they've got going there.
I didn't see any people in the pictures. What day were these pictures taken?

  3. While veiwing the photos I couldn't help hoping that with warren under control the people are able to exercise more freedom. I know there are those warrenites in CC/Hildale who see these photos and wish they could go to Texas and be a part of it. I just hope those in YFZ get to see the results of thier labors from this view. They have done amazing things. Thanks again, Pilot!

  4. That's some fine work, Pilot.

I am sure the county assessor is mighty appreciative.

  6. Once again, Pilot, a great job of photo-documentation -- proving the old adage, your pictures are worth a thousand words.

    Thanks!

  8. Truly amazing - amazing. That temple is so large it makes that massive house look small.

Everything about this place is amazing.

  10. Thanks Pilot, as always these are very interesting Pics. It is nice to watch the compound grow right in front of us. Question, Does anybody know how to request new pics from Google Earth. They still show just the original three buildings. I’ve found the Pringle compound (I'm pretty sure) but I’m still looking for the Mancos Property. If anybody has driving directions I would appreciate them. Ex-creeker

  15. ... Can I just go in the temple thingie?...it's...beautiful and amazing to behold and for some odd reason I just want to go inside and... look around, I guess... gee I'm not even Mormon, lol.
    Human beings are amazing...

  16. Who wouldn't? The temple is one of the most magnificent structures at FLDS in Eldorado and a credit to our community. If the attention to detail and the absolute precision in engineering were half as good on the outside as inside, we may even see an equal to the Sistine Chapel.

  17. Is there any flooding in Eldorado?

    ReplyDelete
  18. No, we are getting a lot of rain but no flooding. Most of the flooding is north or east of us. Hill country had as much as 10 inches in the last two days...

  19. The YFZ temple is a monument to human gullibility.

  20. To 6:19:
So is the " tomb of the unknown soldier". A dog or pig could have been buried there also. Are you gullible to believe in your government or do you have faith that everything told to you by uncle Sam is true?....

  21. the honoring of the unknown soldier was a different hand of cards all-together,and if you don't comprehend that, on it's face, its futile to try to explain.
about the government, good point, the condition our government is in,is human gullibility in action.

  22. I amazed by the photos of the Eldorado FLDS compound. Most polygamists that I know live more like the family in Big Love on HBO. Normal house, normal neighborhood, and keeping a low profile in the community.

  23. Hey,
Random question for those in Texas...Have any of you happened to come in contact with a man formerly known as Austin Knudson? I'm guessing he changed his name by now... He's about 26 years old, at least one wife and one child...
    Thanks for any info!

  24. I am all for people living how they choose. more power to you. But there is no way in heaven or on earth that God meant for young girls, or anyone for that matter, to be forced or taken against their will, At least not my God, nor any God I have read about.
If you want to be left alone to live your lives then maybe its time to for a little internal policing.
    Good luck to you all.

  26. I was going thru eldorado the other day and went by the compound.. u cant go up to it because they have it closed off with a huge white gate with security security cameras. There was three pickups outside of the gate with people in em. I got out and. Talked to them and they actually live in there and were morman. I asked them what they do and they said they are in construction for them. I also asked them if there are still lots of people living there and they said yes.. and that they are there to stay!!! It was really weird.. i didnt think that they would be outside the gate. Can they come and go as they please now that jeffs us gone? Where do they get all there money from? They buy new bulldozers and equipt and pay millions in cash!!! How are they able to do this?
