six more families leave town
six more homes were found vacant...Two of the homes were occupied by Jeffs'. Where they are now is anyones guess, since there isn't much building going on in Texas.

Willie Jessop (Glades son) was bragging that patrons at his South Dakota strip bar tipped bigger tips than his brother's patrons at his brother's Salt Lake City strip bar. His brother is Travis.
If I had more time and didn't have better things to do, I would research the Secretary of State business filings in South Dakota until I found Willie's name (or a corporation name that I would research until I found the list of owners) so I could check out his establishment and maybe post a few pretty pictures.
Maybe there is someone out there who has the time to prove or disprove a few elements of willie's bragging.

FTTC, There are 2 log homes that have been there for over 2 years. They recently completed an 15000 Sq ft log building that the county says they listed on the permits as a dormitory.hotel.motel. On the east side there is a metal builidng and it looks like they have added additional rooms to it. As far as businesses on the property I don't know. They have 140 acres total and it is fenced and you can not see much from the road that crosses the property. I have seen woman and children from a very far distance but at the distance I could not give you a description of them. If the woman and chidren are use to small town life living within the city they are not liking this area. The area is wooded and there are mountain lions, bobcats, elk, deer, and turkeys in the area. The property is located in a very remote area. There is 10 miles of dirt/gravel roads to the highway then 6 miles to Pringle. Pringle has a post office with a C-store attached and one restaurant.bar. That's it. Custer is another 12 miles away and is a tourist community. A middle size grocery store and other normal small town businesses. Rapid City is another 45 miles from Custer. Hot Springs is 35 miles to the south and it is another very small community. I guess I am not helping much, I can't give you a number of people there. There are alot of camper type trailers under the trees along with the homes. Alot of men doing work. My question to you is should I worry about my home and be afraid of this group or do they just live and let live? They are not very friendly!
I can't speak for fttc, and I don't have family members in the FLDS, but from everything I know you don't need to be afraid about them breaking into your home or doing anything like that. They mainly just "live and let live."
What I hope will concern you and lead you to take some action locally, is that 10 miles of dirt road, followed by another 6 miles to the nearest town is a long way for any young woman (let alone one with a few small children) to escape.
Please, please, please contact your state officials and ask them to support Senator Harry Reid's request for a larger federal investigation of the alleged crimes that are continuing to occur under Warren Jeff's regime.
Utah and Arizona law makers have not done enough to investigate and prosecute the crimes that are alleged to have been committed. We need law makers outside of these states to step in and demand action.

I used to know these people, or at least some of them very well. I would say that you have nothing to worry about except if your property borders theirs they may want to purchase yours in the future. The destruction that has been wrought by this group has been mostly internal. I don't think they will bother the neighbors much. Of course any people within a community (county, state, etc.) have an impact on the entire community. If the increase in population and its effects are a concern to you then you have something to be concerned about. I think the compound there will only grow. At least until it self-destructs. Are you in immediate danger? I don't believe you are. It is sad to hear that these people are not being friendly. In the past some of them have been the most friendly people you could meet.

I would never allow my daughter to be put in a situation where she HAD to be a wife to someone, that is her choice. So I can not see where we are alike at all. I leave them alone and I hope they will leave my family alone. It just worries me that they live much like the people in Waco did and we do not need anything like that here.

First, let's call a spade a spade.
A mans not a dirty SOB just because he has more than one wife, or because he's sowed a few wild oats.
It's all the other stuff that makes someone a dirty SOB.
For instance, did they have sex with kids? Then yeah they qualify
Do they beat their wives, or allow their children to be the sexual partners of other adults. Then yeah they qualify
Do they care for their children, feed, clothe, educate, their families, respecting them and loving them. They don't qualify.
I don't think polygamy or monogamy is the measuring stick for dirty SOB - it's all the other stuff.
