Newsworthy Event

Shane and Sherrie moved in the house that Theil and Linda Cooke turned over to the UEP when they moved out. Theil Jr had over 30 men there to protect him and help him not let them in. When Officer Helaman came and saw the paper from Bruce, Theil Jr handed over the keys to the house. Shane told him, cousin you can stay with me, no need to move out.

  1. that was beautiful wasn't it?

It's sad that our only form of entertainment around here is when we can stick it to the flds and the cops.
and let me tell you Little Theil was NOT happy about the whole arrangement either
    ha ha ha

  6. While I don't agree with all the actions that the FLDS and the trustees over the UEP have made, wanting to "stick it" to them puts you on the same level that they were and are at. I'm saddened to see that sort of attitude from my friends and neighbors.
The Golden Rule applies to all, even FLDS and ex-FLDS. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Those who seek revenge are no better than those who perpetrated the problem in the first place. As far as I am concerned, those who seek houses, lands, etc that they didn’t make and or contribute to are no more than thieves. That applies to anyone, FLDS, non FLDS, or any other person who walks on God’s Earth.

  8. What makes Shane have more claim on Theil Sr.'s house than Theil Jr.? Theil Jr helped his dad build it, and he lived there for years, so why does he have to give it over to someone that obviously never lived there or paid a dime to help build it? I am very confused.

Theil didn't want his son living there after he left. It's my understanding that Theil wants shane to hold the house while he is in SLC, but that it isn't permanent for Shane to be there. I hope someone with more than rumors can straighten me out if I am wrong.

  11. Could that have been for power bills that remained unpaid?

I doubt they would turn on power to a place with outstanding bills.

And, if the people who were leaving were unwilling to pay those bills, they probably knew they weren't staying - so the oness was on the new person living there to pay the bills if they wanted power.

  12. The Power Company has a new little trick they are using. The New Occupant must put a deposit down in order to get service. Doesn't matter if you have good credit or reccomend from your last power company. They take your last years july and august bills and add them together and that is your deposit.

They only do this to "outsiders" after all the Warrenites move daily and would choke if they had to pay that.

We had a perfect record for 5 years, moved away for four years and had a recommend from our current power company. Twin City Power told us that our deposit was $1500. We couldn't come up with that at the time, so we just camped out without any power and then after a month or so, I went to pay the deposit and the receptionist was there by herself and it was only $500. I think someone inflates the numbers and that it is NOT fair that everyone doesn't have to put down deposits. I tried to find a higher authority to call on the matter...but they are a municipal power company only regulated by the town council. (Alot of good it would do to complain to the board, they are all warrenites)

  13. I thought Twin City Power shut down and the new generator was "sold" to the Eldorado compound.

  14. Jerry Barlow is the manager of Twin City Power.

Lorin Fischer is the plant manager.

Twin City Power's job is to provide power. If they can't generate economically, shut it down. St. George has generators that sometimes run and sometimes doesn't. Nothing wrong with Jerry deciding it isn't economical to generate our power and instead buys.

  15. Theil Jr does not deserve to have the house.
He and his wife ran his own dad and mom out of in the name of Warren.
Theil Jr has been playing his dad for a fool, using him up and taking him for everything he has,
    and doing it so sweetly.

People need to take responsiblity for their own actions and quit use their relilgion as a good excuse for making bad decisions.
When you make dicisions based on whats best for you and your family you know you are doing right.
No one knows beter what you need than you.

No one has the right to use relilgion to destroy families.
Relilgion should build people up and encourage them to do good.
Warren's relilgion is one of destruction and corruption.
People find them selfs doing things they naterally would not do,like throwing away their children and wives away.
People need to find the couarge to say no to this destruction,or they will have to take the conseqences.
It's right there for you to see.

  16. thanks for taking that previous poster's comments TOTALLY out of context!!!
way to go street (i say that with total sarcasm).

the poster is right in every aspect. I would love it for like 2 seconds if I didn't have to make any decision and some one would tell me what to cook, what to wear, how to act. Wow then I wounldn't have to take responsibility for anything that I did because someone esle told me to do it!!
about sums it up, doesn't it.

  17. So did the devil tell warren to go to disneyland?

Was it his ego that told him to buy a porsche?

Was it his spouse that told him to wear shorts?
