FLDS Prophet Warren Jeffs may be serving life in prison, but his followers continue with their work on the YFZ Ranch near Eldorado, Texas where the group's white limestone Temple towers over the town they are building. Polygamy, the practice of plural marriage, appears to be alive and well in the Lone Star State, despite laws to the contrary.

Fred Jessop Kicked
When will they ever learn? One of the finest men left..just signed over his 5 or 6 million dollar company to John Murdock Barlow and left his wives and family.
As you can tell, Merril Jessop is behind this one. Fred is a wonderful man and stands behind his word and his father Merril Jessop is lower than a snake. He was behind kicking Ernie and now Fred. Ain't it great to sacrifice your children for political clout...but what comes around, goes around. It will come to him before his life is over.
They think this is the work of the Lord, cleaning up the people. What they don't realize is that the clean ones are already gone and all that is left are the snakes.
I heard that he was pretty disgusted that Lyle Jeffs would take things into his own hands and kick out his son. He did not appreciate that. Maybe that is what happens when you try to stand up for your family or get vocal about what is going wrong.
He was too smart for that system. I'm sure Fred knew what he was doing by signing over his company, writing off a bunch of debt, that is. Fred is an absolute genius when it comes to business and he probably don't realize it yet but it's the best thing that ever happened to him.
There was a list a while back of men whose wife (or wives) stayed with them. Some men kept part of the family and another part turned against him. So, not everyone has failed to get at least one wife to go with them.
What goes around comes around. No need to insult others.
People that are in shell shock do funny things and there are hundreds of men, women and children doing funny things. People that have lost their families, their feelings, the love in their life and wish they were dead.
I don't think that Warren Jeffs is even around. Lyle Jeffs is doing the same thing that Warren started.."all in the name of the holy prophet and the calling that has been given me". I doubt that Warren is even in the country and even if he is "Uncle Lyle" has more pull with the people than he does.
I know that the everyday matters don't get to Warren, Lyle acts on his own concience and he is worse than 10 of Warren Jeffs.
STREET HAS TAKEN A BRIEF VACATION AT HIS LOCAL ASYLUM. IT APPEARS THAT HE HAS RETURNED AGAIN TO HAUNT THE BLOGISPHERE WITH HIS PATHOS AND INCOHERENT UTTERANCES. IGNORE HIM AND HE WILL DEPART.
Why do you think Warren has stepped out of the picture and left the running of the FLDS to Lyle? That doesn't make sense to me. I know that Warren made Lyle the new Bishop (although lately it seems that Willie T has reappeared on the scene and reclaimed his position), but I can't believe he would ever give Lyle free reign to run things in his absence. Warren is too paranoid and suspicious and controlling and jealous of the power of others. I can't see Warren hiding out in Canada and allowing Lyle to call the shots. Warren has too much of a need to have tight control, and to be worshipped in person by his followers.
Why do you think that Leroy Jeffs and Allen Steed are gone? They were as high caliber and high in the church as you can get. Allen Steed is a patriarch and Leroy Jeffs is a bishop.
I actually think that Warren Jeffs has no idea of what Lyle is doing. There is no way that he could. Lyle makes alot of decisions on his own.
Even if they are still recording all interviews, which I am sure they are, I doubt he (wj) has enough time in the day to review them all..and give counsel on all.
If you can only imagine, 10,000 people not daring to make a move on their own, calling and getting counsel on every move, It would be enough to wipe a person out mentally and physically.
And when a person is being a leader (bishop) for the wrong reasons, people and situations get "Handled" according to that persons capabilities.
Power hungry people attract people that are hungry for power and it is a chain of killing the top guy so that you can be the top guy.(figuratively speaking)

Joseph Smith God or Adam, Noah, Abraham's God. These two Gods are not the same.
And hungering for the power of God in our lives is a noble pursuit. God wants go give everyone who seeks His guidance power over the world and the devil, not just a select few. That's is why he gave a blood sacrifice of his son Jesus.
The problem is the devil has done a wonderful job making right look wrong and wrong look right. Lucifer knows of the power of God. Being a created creature Satan wanted that power for himself and God has allowed Satan some of this power for a season.
When you arrive at your final destination there will be no question as to where you are. It will not be Sheol, Hades or Gehenneh but the Lake of Fire, reserved for the devil and his angels. No Old Testement place of rest for the dead awaits you. the place of eternal judgement is in your future. I know you and Joseph and Warren will be trying to get a boat to row about but, the boat is on fire too. There is no escape. You cry for mercy but you are receiving just punishment for your refusal to acknowledge that Jesus Christ holds your eternal salvation in the palm of his hands. Your refusal to recognize Him and to turn to Him in faith has sealed your doom. YOu have no hope. "No other name has been given in heaven or earth whereby men must be saved." "But at the Name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord." Not Adam, not any prophet, not Smitty, certainly not Jeffs, father or son and you, by what merit do you hope to escape so great the judgement?
the end is coming...the destructions are coming...what will you do when you get left behind with the "leftovers"? And still have to make a living with the outside world?
