TEXAS POLYGAMY

TEXAS POLYGAMY
Update 2: Polygamy Sect Leader on FBI Wanted List
The FBI announced Saturday it has placed polygamist church leader Warren Jeffs on its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, hoping the additional exposure and reward money leads to an arrest in the long-running investigation.

Jeffs, 50, is the leader of the polygamous Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, based in the state line communities of Hildale, Utah, and Colorado City, Ariz.

The sect split from mainstream Mormonism after the broader church renounced polygamy in 1890. The mainstream LDS church excommunicates members found to be practicing polygamy.

Jeffs is wanted in Arizona on criminal charges of sexual conduct with a minor. He also was charged in Utah with rape as an accomplice. He is accused of arranging marriages between underage girls and older men.

Jeffs has not been seen by anyone outside of the FLDS community for nearly two years and also faces a charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

"We are doing everything we can to track him down," said Tim Fuhrman, special agent in charge of the FBI's Salt Lake City field office.

By putting him on the top-10 list, the FBI's reward increases from $50,000 to $100,000. The list is also distributed worldwide.

"We think that the inclusion of a $100,000 reward is going to mean that people are going to be much more aware of Warren Jeffs, they're going to be much more aware of what he looks like, and they're going to be much more willing to come forward to assist us in our efforts to locate him," U.S. Attorney Paul Charlton said at a press conference in Phoenix.

Associated Press writers Amanda Lee Myers and Jacques Billeaud contributed to this report from Phoenix.

I don't usually post on this blog so I don't know how to use it. I apologize for posting the entire article and for not having one of those fancy red titles. Mine just came up with the blue Texas Polygamy titles.

Then I didn't know how to go delete the majority of the posting so that it wouldn't hog the blog screen. If I broke the blog rules by posting this news article in this manner, please forgive me. Like I said, I don't usually post here, but I thought this blog might like to know this Breaking News information

Its just fine, not to worry. Anyone who thinks otherwise, has to much time on their hands.

Yes, last nights events were interesting and brought out a new audience. The "bounty hunters" or a few have taken interest. Not the professional like "The Dog", but several who have followed the on going saga.

One asked me if I was ready and I am still pondering that posibility. Being on a stakeout is not the glamour some believe it to be and driving a 1000 miles on a maybe is a costly proposition with todays fuel prices. Still, there is room for thought here. You know David and Willie are being watched, the question now who else? Who will be leaving us bread crumbs to follow and or leading us on a goose chase.

More interesting now might be to watch and follow those who want "String Bean" the most, when you see them take off in the dead of night, on a dead run, you can image that it may be for a new or recent sighting.

THE RACE IS ON!

Wouldn't it be interesting if it was one of his wives who became $100,000. richer? I'll bet 1 or 2 is wondering how they got there and worse, how to leave. Damnation maybe, but sometimes hell looks better. $100,000. could buy alot of tissue!

So did the GPS on Seth's SUV reveal another hiding place or "rat hole". Reversing his plea, seemed timed to the judges ruling on keeping the cash and GPS system for evidence. $100,000. could pay for Seth's lawyer fees?

I wonder what his reasons are for changing his plea or did his brother tell him to? For give for being naive; just a thought. I'd watch out for a stand off between his so called body guards & the bounty hunters. I don't know. I just know what I read here & in the biased articles.

Faithful Woman said...

I'm thinking that Seth changed his plea because he pretty much hung himself with the "wouldn't tell if I did know" comment. It would keep him out of the humiliation of a public trial that would end up with the same results anyway, him in jail. And he could possibly slip up and give more information durring trial. It would be to his (and warren's) advantage to change the plea and skip trial.

STREET'S Reply: That's right! There you go. All the people need to do is look at 9/11, look at Katrina, look at the Asian tsunami, look at the worst hurricane season last year, in all of history, all this since the courts began rejecting this man, and especially the events of this very year just past, perfectly coinciding with the charging of the Prophet of God as a mad man and a criminal, as they did Christ, and now you are angry?

Rev. 11:18 - And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. 5/08/2006 5:06 AM

Interpretation: A man who brings life into the world abundantly, as God commands, while the world and its governments promote the slaying of little children in the millions every year.

Which one will God judge? Which do you think He is judging? Did He wipe out New Orleans, or the City of the Saints, the Asian coasts by tsunami, or the City of the Saints? The Gulf Coasts by hurricane after hurricane after hurricane, or the City of the Saints?

Now, He also said: My judgements will begin at the House of God. Just look at Colorado City. It is certainly being judged, even by God's minister, the law and government of the land. Yet he also says "I will judge the nations thereafter.

It began at the House of God, and he bless American in the 1913 war, and the 1945 war, until the 1953 Raid. Then what happened? Vietnam, Korea, ....Iraq, failure after failure, "until the consumption decreed", saith the Lord.

You must be smoking something or popping some pills or drunk as a skunk. You sputter like a wet fuse, circle the problem without ever addressing the issue. As far as I'm concerned, when you start making sense I'll communicate, but until then go get some sleep or go to a detox center.

Incidently, who are you talking to? This is the first post I have made on this particular thread. Why address me? I haven't offered an opinion on anything said until now.

God had some interesting questions for him.

I would be a more appreciative citizen and ex follower of warren if he were brought in alive. I would like to see him tried in a court of law and convicted of what he's guilty of.
I'm the black sheep in my family and his sins coming forth would probably soften the hearts of loved ones to where i and others could enjoy their association again.
Please take this to heart bounty hunters.

Definately brought in alive. Then we'll make sure whichever prison he goes to gets generous donations of reading material by Jon Krakauer - and free screening of independent films like 'banking on heaven'.

I'll predict that he'll be a prison favorite. I guess perhaps the scripture 'do unto others, as you would have them do unto you' might really come true for warren after all.

A prophecy, karma whatever you want to call it - it's a good thing.

REPLY: LOL: Hey, can you say “Ohhh”, or do you prefer “Ahhhh”? There’s the difference between job and Job. The FLDS folks are the hardest working people anywhere, bar none, except for the lazy ones, though they may suffer as Job. As for preferring welfare, I think all of humanity is interested in their welfare. But the Lord says: “They shall cry ‘peace’, and there shall be no peace”. Some of the FLDS people were only forced into public welfare after the states forced them out of the major cities, and into the desert, raid after raid. Go figure. And now America is being raided, until the full consumption decreed, and who will find welfare, or peace? Only those who are lifted up into heaven.

Didn't you know - everyone who is in jail is innocent.

So really he'd be in jail with men just like himself (they think their innocent and they can go both ways).

So don't worry about little warren - he'll be among his own in jail more ever was anywhere else.

Ahh, "more ever was anywhere else". Now we can all see how you make sense, more ever was anywhere else. Nice.

So, let me get this straight Street. Are you advocating the Davinci Code theory? Are you implying that Jesus had wives? And if that is the case, does he have decendants today? I think you need to go hang with Little Ronny Howard and Tommy Hanks to discuss this new revelation of yours.

I think Opie and Forrest Gump would be disapointed.

A little study of the history of art, theology, the writings of the early Christian Church (of the first century, not later) and even a beginner's understanding of the Bible would have caused Mr. Brown to think twice before penning his NOVEL as 'absolute truth'. Much more acceptable had he told the truth that the NOVEL is instead a fabrication with a hidden agenda.

A skunk has wings, feathers and lives in the Antartic, finds it's direction from the North Star, mates while airborn, but still has a foul odor when frightened or run over by a snowmobile.

If Mr. Brown, Hanks and Howard wants to make this novel idea into a book or movie, I've got a right to part of the commission. After all, it's my idea!

Anonymous said...

onthestreet said...

"I change not, for I am eternal, saith the Lord". What changes is man. Having pure, immaculate relations with many women is exactly what Christ has, as your Christian Bible clearly states, and He even went home with them, and sat directing the domestic concerns of Mary and Martha, like any good husband. That is the duty of a husband, and that is what you "sterile, batchelor" Christ was doing.

onthestreet said...

...what YOUR "sterile"...was doing.

onthestreet said...

You try to make Him far less than who He was and is, the father of many, as the Bible clearly shows, and directly stated:

"I do as I see my Father do". Well, his Father was married and had children, or he couldn't have been His Father, right? And Jesus here proclaims that He is doing the same thing, being a husband and a father.

"As above, so below", says the Lord. So if you say that this pertains to heavenly things, then it likewise pertains to earthly things also.

onthestreet said...

I know this is all so very confusing to young, confused, immature, and ofen even wicked, minds. That is what causes the confusion, the wickedness, which muddies your waters and severs the circuits of your brains, literally.

The whole point is that Warren Jeffs is a wicked man performing illegal and immoral deeds, trying to justify his actions with a further perversion of a false religion that is based on a phony religious book that was based on a plagiarized novel that was written by a man who was desperate to provide a financial legacy for his family by writing a romantic novel about the American Indians. It's all so sad.
