New Pictures

New recon this morning after a 2 inch rain.

Walls are going up around the temple starting with the Northwest corner. I estimated the height at about 12 feet. A man on a ladder with eight rungs is about four feet from the top. Magnificent circular staircase is being installed at entrance of the temple. Brick on south side is now about 2/3 complete. The temple is going to be breath-taking when completed. New trees are planted in front of H house. There are many women and children in the fields today although not a significant increase in population that can be seen from the air. More black dirt being ripped near quarry. FLDS looks great after the new rain. I wonder what kind of trees are in the orchard?

New photos. They are yours to enjoy.

Will this temple need to be sealed or dedicated or anything before it is used?

What will it be used for?

That tall concrete looking wall they're building around the temple scares me. Can anyone offer some ideas why its being built? I picture it as looking like a fortress when this high wall is completed.

Since the entire YFZ ranch is surrounded by an 8 foot fence, then why the need to build a 10 - 12 foot cement wall around the temple?

Is this wall being built to keep people in or to keep people out?

I can't put my finger on it, but it just doesn't feel right; it really concerns me.

Straight Shot say,
Atari - although this temple at the YFZ ranch goes against every prophecy, or prediction, in or out of the LDS Church, and the Fundamentalist Mormons of every kind, there always have been dedication ceremonies for every temple ever built by Mormons.

Warren Jeffs will likely dedicate it and then also "seal it up" against the "forces of evil and the destroyer". The Mainstream Mormons in the last 100 years have allowed people to tour the finished temples when they are finished and then hold a special dedicatory ceremony after-which only temple-recommend carrying worthy Mormon's are allowed to enter for specific purposes.

I wondered about this wall too - but since the only images we and even most of Warren's own people have seen of this temple have been taken from the air the way this wall is being constructed will not serve the purpose of keeping, "gentile" eyes from seeing the completed temple. Maybe Warren has had his people dream up a way to seal off the ability to photograph his temple from the top. Would be the only way he could.

There is no way to feel safe or good about any part of the fences in that place. It truly is a beautiful place with the gardens and orchards growing at a rapid pace -- but it looks like a Stepford town. There is something so surreal and strange about this place it defies description.

We can only pray there is a way to find the missing children and for our loved ones to know there are family that cares for them - what ever happens.
But without help - how can we get to them.
God help us all.

Looking at photos the wall may not be so sinister, part of it may be used as a retaining wall in the corner near where two streets intersect, the photo shows where the temple property was leveled, they will have to fill in the area between the intersection and wall, so part of the wall may serve as retaining wall. It appears to have concrete columns with some sort of prefabab wall section lowered in placed then stuccoed to give appearance of solid concrete.

For security it might keep an individual from jumping over, but wouldn't prevent LE from enering as the wall dosen't appear strong enough to prevent bulldozers or armored vechicles from entering.

IMO for security purposes, the fence is to keep ordinary folks out & serve as a decorative feature/retaining wall.

The temple building it's self wouldn't make a very good "fortress" because of it's construction, thin veneer of limestone over the exterior would only stop small arms fire, any larger caliber weapons would go through building, large windows & large skylights as indicate building is not designed as defensive position.

BTW think that Warren Jeffs should get a backbone, call sheriff Doran, turn himself in peacefully.

Jeffs claims to be following Joseph Smith as Mormon prophet, he needs to do as Smith did, when charge with crimes, Smith allways turned himself in peacefully to LE.

Read last paragraph of this website Jeffs: http://www.josephsmith.net/portal/site/JosephSmith/menuitem.da0e1d4eb6d2d87f9c0a33b5f1e543a0/?vgnextoid=ad10001cfb340010VgnVCM1000001f5e340aRCRD

Smith left for the jail under his own free will, not under arrest, turned himself in peacefully.

You are overlooking something very obvious. Jesus did not hide from law enforcement. He hid from an angry mob. There is a BIG difference. At what is termed the passion Jesus gave himself up the the Roman soldiers (the Law) although the high priest was present.

fftc - yes, in fact - I bought a lovely old book here with some of the early original teachings of the LDS. And, while I don't have time to copy it - it contradicts how warren conducts himself relating to submitting to the laws of the land.

I noticed a new pad between the warehouses and silos. It wouldn’t be for the mysterious building that disappeared in CC would it?

Ummm, interesting.

Jesus was rebuking the religious with all of their rules for practicing their "religion".

So restrictive were these rules - that he even had to ask if he could heal the sick - on the holy day.

I highly doubt Caesar had much to do with religious law - and the experts that he was speaking to - were the experts in religious law and the Pharisees (not CAESAR).

It would basically be akin to Jesus asking warren and his bishops if it was ok to comfort an apostate. Like - duh - you should be able to show them a great kindness, but because of the religious rules warren has instituted that would be a 'no no'.

If anyone is hyper religious - the the point - of missing the point of Christ (well - just look in the mirror).

Actually what appears to be a cavern is a large mound of black dirt that is wet from recent rain. It does look like cavern in the photo but I can assure you its not - this is what it really is:
