TCEQ steps in

TCEQ served a cease and desist order against the YFZ Ranch last week forcing them to stop construction at their sewer plant. It seems the UCRA is doing some good.

hey there Polygasaurus Tex, is it starting to smell bad down there yet? hopefully you don't live downwind from YFZ! Maybe halting the construction on the plant will force everyone back here because of the stench. Hopefully it doesn't force you out as well!

Goodness, I just looked at the photo. The Temple building is huge. The men on the roof look like ants compared to that thing.

I read in the ElDorado online paper that some pilots had been taking pictures of the progress at YFZ. Does anyone know if they can be seen online somewhere. Also to the city council that joined with UCRA, smart move. If I where you I would treat the YFZ as you would a rattler. They cannot be trusted to carry out any agreement, regardless of who it is made with. That is how it is when you are above the law.

As I was born and raised in the society of Warren Jeffs and his first councillor Wendell Nielsen and Uncle Fred Jessop. I have known these men for a long time. What is going on in Texas is strange to me. I knew these men to be honest. Wendell has spent his life running a legal business and obeying the laws. Uncle Fred is law abiding. Warren Jeffs has obeyed the law as long as I can remember. Warren's father Rulon believed in paying taxes, being legal and making peace with the government. Rulon Jeffs was as honest as accountant as you could ever find and Warren's mother is as honest of lady as you will ever find, she is sister to Allen Steed. Warren seems to have cut off many honest men, like Allen Steed and others. He leaves men like David Allred and Merril Jessop to run the place in Texas. These men are not known for their honesty and good business practice. They are borderline on being crooks. David lied about the original purposed of the place. Hunting Retreat, right. Where did David get all this money anyway, with so many employees with so much back pay. Warren's recent teachings were to get rid of the guns and such and he has never liked hunting, yet David gets to go build a place of hunting in Texas, can't we lie better than that. Telling them is was a landing pad for a spaceship would have worked better.
Men like Allen Steed are sent away from Texas. Allen is one of the most honest men I have ever known. He ran a successful excavation company for many years. He knows all about getting permits and complying with the law. Wendell knows all about running a machine shop and obeying OSHA and the laws. Why is it the this Texas place is in such a damn mess legally? These permits are not expensive and Warren does seem to have money. Looks like Warren needs to cut off whoever is running the construction in Texas and bring some of those honest that he sent away back. Nephi Barlow is very successful in construction and I bet he knows how to get permits. Ron Rohbock, one Warren first sent away has been in the construction business for many years and he knows about permits. Please Wendell, Fred and Warren, don't let your whole lives built on honesty be destroyed by what is going on in Texas, you are supposed to be building Zion and be the light on the hill. Please, Warren, tell me that you are not purposely trying to get at odds with the law enforcement community to try to bring forth your predicted destructions. They want to make peace, Arizona has said they were sorry for the '53 raid, be a man and accept and make peace. I don't think that the law enforcement society is in the business of making your prophecies come true. The only destructions I have seen so far is the huge path that you seem to leave behind.

Please show the world that you are still true to "The Work" and make peace with your new neighbors. I can't find any teachings in the books and beliefs of "The Work" that teach anything other than to obey the law of the land. Your place in Texas should be the finest example in all the world.

I invite all those who still believe in "The Work" to bring forth their ideas of Zion, let the world understand that the lies and disreguard for the law in Texas is not the Zion we want to build, nor is it even in the right place.

Let truth prevail.

The Success has published dozens and dozens of photos of the buildings at the YFZ. Go to the YFZ archive page and click on the individual stoies. Most of them have photos. They are arranged by date

I agree with the knight, seems like to me that around the year 2000, honesty and fairness in Colorado City took a dive. I heard that Warren's father Rulon had a stroke in last part of 1998 and a few more before his death. People say that Warren has been running the show ever since the first stroke. Maybe Rulon was working far harder with Warren to keep him honest than we know. The people that I know in the 2nd ward, as it is called, have worked hard to get educated and seem to be honest, yet they are considered bad and put down by the Warren group. I have heard from people in Colorado City, that Warren claims to be talking to his father (really). If that is the case, his father must still be suffering from his stroke, cause things sure are gettin to be a mess there.

Many businesses that have dealings with the people in Colorado City said they used to be great at keeping their end of the deal, but this new leader that claimed control sure does not run things the same. I met a guy one time a few years ago, that said he was never a member of that group in Colorado City, but he knew Roy Johnson very well. He said that if Roy told you he would pay you back, he did. I have been through that town a few times, those people seem to be working so hard and have been for 50 years or more. The few people that I met were just simple members that seemed true and honest. Most don't have finished houses even. It is sad that they have worked so hard for so many years and in just a few years after Rulon Jeffs died, Warren seems to be robbing them of everything.

Living in Utah and saddened by the rule of a wicked king.

Whatever happened to Fred Jessop (Uncle Fred), does anybody know? Is he still alive? Please post a response if you know.

One of the most puzzling questions for outsiders to ponder regarding the recently formed (1991 or 1992) FLDS Church is, "Are there any real men in it?." If there had been any real men in that church, they would have taken Warren Jeffs out behind the wood shed and kicked his ass long ago. Any man that would abandon his family and vacate his inheritance because some skrawny runt calling himself a prophet said to, is nothing more than a wimp and a coward. I guess all the wimps ended up in the FLDS church because real men wouldn't leave the "Priesthood Work" to organize a church for wimps.

I don't know why people have a problem with a community trying to take care of their waste water in an approved manner. I find the fact that San Angelo is against this project quite interesting. I'm sure they are making a nice revenue from the waste and wouldn't want to lose. To bad there using the money being paid to them by this community against the community.

Given the track record of the lies these people have been telling down there (hunting retreat, right, whatever). Anyway, I would be concerned too, if the sewer ponds are not done right, then tainted water will get into the water system. If this were a farmer and his wife discharing very minimal amounts, I would not care either. The FLDS has lied about the very number of people that even live there. With a 1,000 or more people discharing waste, everyone down there should be making sure that the sewer plant is done correctly, it would be the first thing that is on that place down there. Warren has many members with great talent. There is more than one person with a degree in engineering who lives in Colorado City, that could design the sewer plant to the requirements of Texas. Maybe Warren is upset that they know far more that he does. Looks like Warren is a coward and definitly not a team player, for there is a fine team of men in Colorado City that Warren appears to have no use for.

If I were living in the FLDS community in Eldorado, I would be second-guessing the water I was drinking and giving my children. From all appearances of the situation, they aren't too concerned about those on the outside who are affected by their sewage, but they could at least look out for their own.

The FLDS folks over there are getting a taste of their own medicine - taking money that has been given them and using it to take advantage of the hand that feeds.

I would remind you:It is not Warren Jeffs who is doing all the slander and lies. I would remind you, he is the one building. From my experience: I would say he has been very sucessful,or you would not be filling the air way with your venum. Go build you a city. Get ten thousand people to follow you. See if you can put your hands where your lips are. unless all you can do is wave your hands about. If you are one of the people that was in my church, You know very well: Warren did not put you out!YOU PUT YOURSELF OUT. He did offer it to all. you did not want it. you made your choices. you can not take it from those that made the choice to stay with him and love him. To those that call Rulon Jeffs names, I am glad I am not you. He was a very honorable man. They said the same things about Jesus, when they hung him on the cross. Jesus tought to love and forgive. Try it. It may help your bitterness.

Warren Jeffs did not build a flock of 10,000. The men before him did. In fact, I would question that number as being accurate in light of current events. What he HAS been responsible for is causing a lot of people to leave - especially men.

Oh, and another thing - anyone - and I do mean ANYONE can build a huge empire on the backs of those who are willing to work night and day towards that goal. Those who are willing, do so because Jeffs is dangling salvation over their heads in order to accomplish his lofty goals.

His leadership is very recent to your group and I have a feeling it will not last. I hope he won't abandon you all in Texas and flee to Mexico, but I fear he will.

11:33 am.That was well said & prophetic insight. If it comes true& it probably will, try not to let it go to your head. :)

I'm no prophet, just a sad observer.

Oh my oh my. Are we going to call men great by the size of their following or by the things they build with their followers' money? Then I have a holy man for you: Adolf Hitler.

Warren Jeffs didn't build a damn thing. The "flock" was already there. The "sheeple" had been taught and conditioned by others for complete obedience and not to question the "prophet" in anything.

Unfortunately, they had mortgaged their minds to a "one-man-doctrine" of infallibility. The "prophet" could never make a mistake in word, doctrine, or leadership, even if he became encumbered with age, had a stroke or was medicated for pain.

Because of this doctine and belief of infallibilty, the sheeple had to overlook Rulon Jeff's prophecy that Brother Johnson would not die. They had to forget that he also said he and Uncle Fred would not die and would live past three hundred years. Many other outrageous predictions came and went without fulfillment.

This was the mindset that Warren Jeffs commandeered through manipulation and excommunication, until the only propoganda fed to the sheeple was Warren's. After all, what good are dead books when you have a living prophet?

However, as with any psychotic power broker, paranoia becomes a looming nemesis and the most innocent challenge becomes a heretical mutiny and must be extricated. Warren began a notorious campaign to thin the flock of the few timid thinkers among them and the "sword of chastisement" was wielded without mercy.

The only thing this "Prophet of Doom" has built of his own making is a home in hell . . .
